Rhea instantly leaned into his touch, but then pulled away. She can't let herself fall for him again, at least not right now, especially with her being so vulnerable. "I never stopped loving you either, but it still hurts." She admitted finally. Rhea sighed when she heard the door bell ring. "Can you answer that for me." She asked him. Rhea was just too weak to get up, but she was wondering who was at the door.

Youngjae saw the door open, revealing Jaebum. "Hey man, I wasn't expecting you to open the door." He chuckled softly. He then looked over his shoulder Jaebum's shoulders and saw Rhea sitting down on the couch. "Well it looks like she hadn't killed you yet, so things must be going okay. I'm sorry to do this, but I had to bring Ji-ho over. Things between me and Ember went bad and now I'm trying to find her." Youngjae sighed sadly. "I finally told her and things were okay but then she freaked out and then disappeared."

Jaebum looked at Youngjae then down at his son, smiling. "Yeah, of course. Do you have any idea where she might be?" He asked then glanced back at Rhea. He didn't want to leave her though. He hoped that she wouldn't kick him out because he had his son. "Let me know if you need anything, man." Jaebum patted his shoulder as Ji-ho walked to his father then walked into the house more. He sat next to Rhea and glanced at her then looked away.

Youngjae sighed and shook her head. "I have no clue man, I tried looking at the places that I think she would be at, but she wasn't there. So I'm gonna check again and try different places. All I can do is hope for the best." He said and ran his fingers through his hair. "Thanks man. I hope things go well for you and Rhea." Youngjae said before turning around to head to his car."

Rhea looked up when she heard the front door close. She saw that Jaebum was walking back towards her, but with Ji-ho walking next to him. She nibbled her bottom lip slightly as she saw that Ji-ho briefly looked at her before looking away. She got up and crouched down in front of the little boy and gave him a soft smile. "Hi kiddo. Let's get you some ice cream and maybe a sketch book to keep you occupied while your dad and I talk.

Jaebum watched the two interact with each other and smiled. He knew that Rhea would of been an amazing mother and she will be. He looked over at Ji-ho. "I can get him ice cream if you want and you can get the sketch book?" He offered but Rhea never said anything but got up. Ji-ho looked at his father and nodded. Jaebum followed Rhea into the kitchen since she already had the book. "I'm sorry about all this. I was hoping that we could talk more so he didn't overhear us." He said. He watched Rhea scoop some ice cream out but it was silent.

Rhea just nodded, while Jaebum spoke. Not really having anything to say to him. She then looked at Ji-ho. "Here you go. Some ice cream, a sketchpad, and some crayons. Your dad and I will be right back." She said sweetly to the boy before looking back at Jaebum. Rhea tilted her head towards the living room before she walked over there. Once Jaebum walked in, she closed the door so that Ji-ho couldn't hear them if they began to argue again. Rhea stood there, running her fingers through her hair. She didn't know what to do or say right now. She was still hurt and confused.

Jaebum stood in silence when they were in a different room. He wasn't sure what to say. He said stuff already and he wasn't sure if it help anything. He wished that he knew that Rhea was pregnant because he would have been there. He couldn't believe Yezi would do anything to tamper with his phone but she was a little crazy when she was pregnant. "I get why you hate me now but you have to belive me I didnt know."

Rhea didn't know what else to say. Part of her believed him, but she wasn't sure if he was telling the truth. "I want to believe you." That is all she said before she noticed her phone was had vibrated. She went to get it and saw that she had a few missed calls and text messages. The calls were from Ember and she saw that she had sent her a text also. Sighing, Rhea had opened the message. Once she read it, Rhea quickly replied back. Telling Ember that she will not tell Youngjae where she was and that she'll call her back shortly.

Jaebum sighed. He had to figure out how to get her to belive him. "Rhea, what can I do to make you believe me?" He asked then saw her texting on her phone with a little worried look. "Is everything okay?" He walked over to her slowly as he watched her look over at him then back at the phone.

Ember stood up and stretched. She looked out over the water below. She felt dizzy and backed away from it. She thought she heard a noise like a car door so she went down the steps but no one was there. She wrapped the blanket around her more as the breeze was getting cold. She shut the door and went back to the top.

Rhea sighed. "Look I just need time Jaebum. You just came back into my life after I had finally moved on from you. Right now my brain is trying to process all of this." She said, then looked back at her phone and then frowned when Ember didnt saying anything yet. She cursed under breath, a little louder than she wanted because Jaebum asked her what's wrong. Sighing she faced him. "It's Ember. She told me what happened between her and Youngjae and now she is hiding from him at some place

"Where is she? Why did she ran away?" Jaebum asked eventhough he knew what happened. He looked at Rhea then pulled his phone out. "I'll text Youngjae so he isn't worried." He wanted his friends to be happy and Youngjae really like Ember. He also wanted to start working on getting on Rhea good side. "They have to get together."

Ember looked at her phone when she came back up and saw she had service and a few text messages. A lot of them from Youngjae but she replied to Rhea. She text back telling her she was at the lighthouse but she is safe then asked if Rhea was okay. She read some of Youngjae text and felt like crying. She looked around and decided to go back. She just had to explain things. She stopped mid packing and starting panicking. "I'm an idiot.

Rhea looked up at Jaebum. She wasn't going to tell him, but he gave her a look and she couldn't not tell him. "Don't tell him where she is though. She doesn't want him to find her. But she's fine. She is hanging by the lighthouse nearby the beach front." She said told him. Rhea soon felt her phone vibrate, letting her know that she has a new text message. Rhea opened it, since it was from Ember and read it. However, she shook her head when she saw that Ember had asked about her. Girl, you're worried about me? I'm more worried about you. But I'm fine I guess. Jaebum is here with me...long story. I will have to tell you in person. Please be careful

Youngjae was driving when he heard his phone go off, seeing that he had a text message from Jaebum. He stopped at a stop light and read the text once he took out his phone. He was glad that Ember had texted Rhea and that Jaebum was with Rhea when she got the text. Putting the phone away, he made a u-turn at the traffict stop once the light turned green. He was driving towards the beach front, hoping that Ember was still there.

Jaebum watched her as she put her phone down and looked anywhere but at him. "Listen, I should probably get my son home or back to Youngjae place but can we hang out again?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck. He was nervous and he didn't really want to leave her. "It's getting pretty late for him." He said stepping close to her but didn't do anything but stick his hand out for a shake.

Ember read her text message from Rhea and text her that she was coming back soon. She kept the blanket around her to keep her warm and she knew she wasn't losing it when she heard a car door shut. Her stomach started doing flips. She was scared. What if he now hated her because she ran away. She didn't move nor say anything. She could hear him climbing the steps and she was shaking so hard.

Rhea looked at Jaebum and nodded she understood that it was getting late especially for Ji-ho. She then looked at his outstretched hand, knowing that he wanted to call it truths and be buddy buddy again, and Rhea wasn't sure if she was ready for it. "Just because I told you what happened, doesnt mean I'm ready to he friends or want to be with you again Jaebum." She said and stepped back from his hand and walked towards the door.

Youngjae was glad to see Ember's car when he pulled up to her location. He quickly got out and headed towards where she would be hiding. As soon as he reached the door, he knocked on it. "Ember, I know you are in there. Please talk to me. I want to understand what happened. " he called out to her.

Jaebum sighed softly and walked passed her out to his son. "Come on Ji-ho. We should be getting home." He said trying to keep his cool. He was trying to be nice to her with a handshake. All he wanted to do was pull her close snd kiss her but he knew that wouldn't happen anytime soon. He held his hand out for his son to take. Ji-ho stop to look over at Rhea. "I'm Ji-ho. It was nice to meet you." He waved at her as they walked to the door. "Oh I'll have some more ice cream sent to you too. Goodbye, Rhea." Jaebum said.

Ember jumped slightly at the loud knock. She knew he wasn't mad but just worried. She walked over to the door and unlocked it. She opened it and saw him knocking on the other door. "I'm over here." She said and laughed a little bit as she pictured him knocking on a different door. She quit laughing when he turned around. "Hi." She simply said with a small wave.

Rhea looked down at Ji-ho as he stuck out his hand to greet her. She bit her bottom lip, feeling her heart being tug because of the little boy. She couldn't be mean to him, not that she wanted to. So Rhea crouched down to his level and "Nice to meet you Ji-ho. I'm Rhea." She said and shook his hand. Rhea looked up at Jaebum and shook her head. "No need to do that. I didnt mind him having the ice cream." She said softly.

Youngjae sighed in relief, seeing that she was okay and safe. "I'm glad you are safe." He said, walking in and sitting down next to her afterwards. "Can we talk about happened earlier?" He asked softly as he held her hand in his.

Ji-ho shook her hand and smiled. "I hope we can hang out sometime." He said then Jaebum tugged him gently out the door. "Well text me whenever you feel like it, okay." He said picking Ji-ho up to make his exit faster. He was trying hard not to pressure her but he just wanted to spend more time with her.

Ember bit her lip and looked down at their hands together. "I'm sorry for making you worry and I'm sorry for running away when I shouldn't have because I've wanted to do that for awhile now." She blushed softly. "Did Rhea tell you I was here?"

Rhea felt her head was about to explode, better yet her head, mental and emotional state was going to explode because of Jaebum. She just nodded her head but didn't say anything, not comfortable with herself speaking because she wanted to just go off on Jaebum. Once they left, Rhea closed the door and slid down to the floor. "Why couldn't he just stay away?" She mumbled to herself.

Youngjae shook his head no. "Jaebum told me. I'm assuming that she told him and told Jaebum to not tell me or Jaebum just looked over her shoulders and saw the text." He said with a shrug. "But why did you freak out if you wanted to kiss me for a while? Was it bad or something? Did you not feel the same once we kissed?"

Jaebum put his son in the car and buckled him up before getting in the front, buckling himself up and heading back to Youngjae. He wanted to turn back around and just spend more time with her, just to be with her even if they didn't talk. He glanced back in the rearview mirror and saw Ji-ho fast asleep. He pulled up to Youngjae's house but saw no one home. Ji-ho was awake long enough to walk inside and lay on the couch. I'm sure he will be fine there tonight. If they make up then I'd hope they'd stay at Embers place. Knowing Youngjae, he took his time with things. Jaebum covered his son up after taking his jacket and shoes off. "Goodnight, kiddo."

Embee shrugged, "I'm not sure. I mean, we've been friends for a long time and you never showed you might be into me. Rhea would tease me about me liking you for so long." She said looking over at him. "It wasn't bad at all. I did feel different but like the good different. I just...I thought it was all a joke so I was just saving myself from the embarrassment." She said biting her lip as they geld eye contact as she talked out how she felt. "I really like you, Youngjae."

The next morning came by and Rhea woke up to her not in her bed, but on her couch. She sat up slowly, as she woke up with a migraine. She looked over to see that the coffee table was flipped over and a few of her sonograms were on the floor and that's when everything that happened last night flooded back into her memory. Rhea sighed and got up to make herself a cup of tea, knowing that today was going to be miserable.

Younger reached over and gently griped her chin. "You should know that I would never pull a prank like that, especially when it comes to another person's feeling. He moved his hand from her chin and wiped her tears with the pad of his thumb. "I really like you too, Ember and have for a long time." He said and leaned forward to place a soft kiss on her lips.

Jaebum wake up and heard silence. He climbed out of bed and went to check on Ji-ho to see him up watching TV but the volume low. "You sleep okay?" He asked and watched Ji-ho nod his head. He smiled, walking to the kitchen and grabbing his phone off the charger. He checked his messages but nothing. He frowned and was hoping to hear from Rhea.

Ember pulled back quickly to search his face but saw nothing but a warm smile. She leaned back in and kissed him softly. She felt him smile against her lips and then pulled back, blushing softly. "That was..." She stopped before she ruined the moment and smiled at him. She grabbed his hand and laced their fingers together. Looking at them with a big smile. She hadn't smiled like that in a long time.
