    I look to the sea
Reflections in the waves spark my memory
    Some happy some sad

I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had

Ophelia sat at the far end of the garden in her father's sprawling estate, sitting by a small pond while she watched the little koi swim around in circles. Her father had sent her to his estate in the neutral territory between his kingdom and the neighboring kingdom while he was engaged with talks with said kingdom over their plans to expand, which as a result put a large number of water nymphs like her at risk. It was bad enough of an issue for her father to get involved, especially since there was a chance that things would escalate to war if her father couldn't sort it out with the other king.

So Ophelia was stuck spending most of her days wandering around within the safety of her father's expansive estates, either picking flowers to decorate the house with or wandering around the gardens looking for a decent place to read, or mostly just staying out of the servants' way. She let out a little sigh in frustration as she leaned back against the tree she'd been resting against, feeling like she might she might die of boredom if she had to remain alone on the estate for any longer.
Percy sat inside of the small fishing village's tavern, eating a bowl of mediocre stew as he waited for the rain to pass. He'd been hiding in town, living as a human for almost five years now, the humans who lived in this fishing village not taking kindly to his people. So he'd managed to hide in the village, hide in plain sight, but that was difficult when it was raining. So he'd spend the night in the tavern, procrastinate leaving until it had stopped raining, whether it took a few hours or it took all night for the rain to clear. He'd heard rumors that someone was coming to hunt down the last few members of his people too, and while it made him sick to his stomach, he knew he had to stay out of it, couldn't risk trying to get in touch with his people to warn them for fear that he'd accidentally expose himself or lead the humans right to them. So he'd sit in the tavern for as long as it took for the rain to disappear, and toil the fields for long hours and hide his true identity.
