This story really strikes a chord with me. You have no idea how close to home you've just hit. For the last few years my brother has sexually abused me while drunk or high. Like Mikey, I realize that it's not my brother who does this. And I can't help but see the good in my sober brother, but still, that doesn't make me feel any better when he's fucked up. And I understand how Mikey felt when he woke up and Gerard didn't even remember, it's the worst having to live with this while he can forget so quickly. Unlike Gerard, my brother's still into all of that shit. But, yeah, your story was really uplifting and made me hopeful about what it could be like when he does clean himself up. Thank you so much for writing about such a controversial topic and for really helping me see the light at the end of the tunnel. It really means the world to me. Thank you!
This one made me jump away from the computer.

I just found it - read through all night and cried my eyes off ... everyone deserves an angel - and everyone gets one .. how long the angel will stay depends on who the angel is and what he´s gone through .. But thank you - thank you for having myself a way to make me clear I don´t know why i always stuck to "these" stories - and i don´t know why my boyfriend was so damn interested in knowing what i´m reading - but i know everything happens for a reason ...

I really love this fic. Especially the end. I cut a couple times but I quit. I read this fic a while back and whenever I'm so mad or sad that I just feel like dying, I think about that ending, the 'do you really want to die or do you just want things to change?' part. Thank you so much because it's stopped me from thinking I wanna die so many times. Thank you!
    Stupidest

I received a comment yelling at me for making Billie Joe gay in my story. The comment basically said that it was 'people like me' who breaks up such happy couples and that I should leave them alone and stay out of their lives.

*To me, the worst reviews are the ones where I get no feedback. I appreciate all of my readers, but when I get a comment like 'Good. PM me.' or even just the 'PM me,' I kind of frown. I'd like to know what's good or bad. It helps me.

I think no feedback is the worst too.
It can really discourage you from sharing your work.
I like your stories alot Druscilla.
Sorry I have no fancy words to pad out that sentence.

I've got some nice reviews, but I can't remember them off the top of my head at the moment.
The worst(and stupidest) I ever got was:
    "SUKS FUCKIN MONKEY BALLS!"

Let's start with the bad ones.
These I got for Cherry Soda Boy- my favorite story I have ever written.

"I hate to tell u but i really dont think u could get this published. Its choppy. Also its such a controversial issue. I only say this is b/c u say u wish to be a writer, and to get ur stories published after u change a few names. Either way Good luck with that b/c the way ur goin, ur not gonna be an "Author" anytime soon. Besides i doubt anyone is gonna read about High School boys having sex. Lets be real. Oh and since u said not to I'm gonna say it anyways, EW, GAY, THATS DISGUSTING!11. But really, get a life."

"The only thing that put me off was the way you wrote in the first person. It seems like whenever Cloud or your characters rant about something, it is really an outlet for your own opinion. For example: in chapter 8 Reno says: " But God never liked me much - maybe because according to his so-called sacred doctrine I am a sinner." It just wasn't necessary to put it that way. Sorry, but when you insert things like that, like "so-called doctrine", it is blatantly obvious that it is YOUR opinion, and your characters are merely an outlet for it."
^ This pissed me off because she doesn't know me -_-

"Okay first off your wierd. Guys and guys dont go together. So I think you are nasty. Ass fuckers eh? HA! You really shouldnt write, no one would ever read this shit unless their messed up. So nasty fucker. Buh bye."
^ Kind of funny considering I know about 100 people from FF.net, INO, and RL who love Cherry Soda Boy. One Fan being my MOTHER (which I put because...my mom, though loves gay people, freaks out when they kiss; so for her to read CSB, and like it, is an honor).

As for good reviews- not to brag but I have gotten alot. I think my favorite were one person saying that because of Cherry Soda Boy, when he comes out of the closet, he will do it with his head held high. So that was REALLY an honor to hear that.

Another great one, this one for Dear God, I Think I Killed the Sweetest Flower, my friend said she had printed the entire story out to read and her mother found it. Her mother, who was a homophobe, was crying by the ending of the story. She said "It was intensely emotional, but with the talent to pull it off." And my friend told me that after her mother read the story she is no longer homophobic. So I was like "Wooot!!"

    I don't get reviews.

Feedback, really, is just a few words...like 'That was amazing' or 'That's so beautiful.' Never really anything constructive. I don't like straight to the point comments about how great it is. GIMME SOME CRIT. PEOPLE.

These are for Raindrops On Roses And Girls In Black Dresses. It kind of ended up as a hit. A oneshot hit.

"When I read the three ending words, shock waves were sent through my whole body.

That's the most beautiful piece of writing I've ever read.

How did you get so good nikki???"

    "Your seriously gifted with writing.

You should look into a writing career. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything.

But I felt really connected to that poem, I could feel the emotion. It was literally one of the best things I've ever read...and I've read some really unique stuffs".

"i remember this story. i cried so hard at the end. and i'm crying a bit now, and i didn't even finish it. you write happiness, and don't ever forget it."

From The Razor To The Rosary
"i know you're never gonna see this, but that was amazing. really amazing"

    Poetic Tragedy
    "nikki...
    ur like...
    amazing. seriously."

"nikki you are one amazing author."

    Cut Up Angels
    "holy mother of fuck nikki.

    that was amazing."

...I guess I do good on oneshots.

Bad comments? I haven't really gotten any. It kind of disappoints me, because I know my writing isn't the best, and there's some stuff I could improve on.

Oh well. Good comments make me happy.

In on of your bad reviews you got Believe, they were like; it was clear that your characters were an outlet for your beliefs.

    Well fuckin; nah.
    thats why people write.

I think that we put a little of ourselves into every character and i think that theres nothing wrong with that.

I have to find the best reviews I got... never got a bad one *shrugs*
    one nut wonder:
If I was talking to Tre right now I'd be like "Sab needs the man she fell in love with. With out him, she's dying inside ever so slowly, while a new life grows. Tre she needs you. Forget Jill and go back to Sabrina. Can't you see Jill's trying to control your life? Go back to Sabrina, the one you love."

I know I took that off my comment, but I want to make my point across. JILL SHOULD DIE!
    WavyGravy-ATCSM-:
    I read it.

And Im probrably gonna get bashed but, I can sympathise with Tre.
His heart belongs to Sab- we know that. But the promise he made to Jill is like him trying to make right all the wrongs in all of his relationships.
Am I right??... No... Didnt think so! lol

I loved the chapter though- it was pulling on my heart strings. The Connie Smith song, has to be downloaded- I liked the lyrics.
    iATEjimmysworld:
Oh.My.God. You know, he couldn't crawl far enough on his knees to make this up to her.

He better have built her a fucking TEMPLE...*walks off grumbling*
    A Melancholy Autumn:
    OHMYGOD.

How EVIL AND SADISTIC can you be? You, you...wonderfully talented writer. :omgno:

    Best:
    "Try writing longer updates.
If you can stretch your ideas out over a longer piece of writing, chances are it will increase the quality of the writing in question.
By stretching it, you will be forced to fill in all that empty space with description, adding to the picture you've been putting together over the past two pages.
Actually, you need to work on your description period.
You've got a nice story going, & it's got lots of skin and bones, but I want meat.
I am not a vegetarian when it comes to stories.
    Gimme meat.

    + a nice, generic suggestion.
Always check your spelling + grammar.
    Always, always, always. =)"

Because it was actual ways to improve.

    Worst:
Probably something around here: "MORE PLEASE!!!!!"

Actually the one review that almost made me A. Go fangirl, and B. Cry. When Drucilla said "Finally someone can write!" in my story Nanashi. I was like "OMG My favorite slash writing loves my story ^.^" I got all giggly like a school girl.

I hate it when I don't get any feedback. Even if it's something about how someone doesn't like my story because of something, I appreciate it. I like to know what I could improve about my stories.

For sure, because I pretty much love the way she writes and the fact that she said I write well made me feel more wonderful than ever.

I really don't remember very many bad reviews I've gotten, but for sure the ones that are like, "*ten* pm me when more, plz," would be pretty far down on the list.

One of the best reviews/comments I've gotten is this one:
    Graveyard Scholar:
That was so fucking awesome words cannot describe it.
Kinda of Romeo and Juliet-ish. Except Juliet killed the dude this time. And there was no fake deaths only real deaths.

    I don't really know.
I think some of my best reviews haven't been on this site.
My favourite are when people tell me WHY they liked or disliked the story.
Just saying more, or i like it doesn't really help much, but I like knowing if people did like it or not.

Sara, don't stop writing because of something some stranger said.
If you express yourself through poetry please do.
They don't know you and probably wouldn't even know poetry if it hit them in the face.
Its YOUR work, so along as it helps you don't worry about what everyone else says

    same with me too .

I wouldnt mind something more than just the usual ' Good update, more soon ? '
It just doesnt feel like theyre reading the story and that theyre commenting it just to be polite.
I know my writing isnt exactly perfect, I would love for some constructive crticism.
