    Really? That sounds really interesting.

How is alien related to your faith?

My faith touches on things outside of earth. There is an entire universe out there and since I believe in aliens (beings from other worlds, whatever they may be called), I believe that it has to be taken into account when determining how your religion works in the universe. I believe there is a possibility that we are reborn continuously in our lifetimes. I think there is another possibility that we may be reborn into a higher lifeform from another world, galaxy, universe, plane of existence. I'm not entirely sure. But I definitely take beings from other worlds into consideration when I am exploring my spirituality and it is highly important to me to include all of the universe in these possibilities, not just Earth.

Whoa. I've never heard of that kind of thing before. That sounds amazing.

I like the idea that faith isn't always about earth and people who live in it. Because I think most faith in the world are very human-oriented, but it's normal, considering we are the only thinking creature who rule the planet.

How did you come up with this faith related to alien?

The ancient astronauts theory lends itself to the ideas of angels being aliens, of alien technology showing itself in the Bible. I think it makes sense that God is working through something in the universe and the universe's mysteries are being misinterpreted by religion.

There's another theory that the ancient Greek/Roman gods were all aliens. (A lot of ancient gods, actually.)

Aliens wow. Um, well...maybe there are some aliens out there, maybe there aren't. I dunno..but I do think that it's highly likely there are other creatures out there other than humans '.'

I feel like there has to be something else out there. I mean, look up to the stars. Notice how far away the planets in the night sky are. Notice how the naked human eye cannot even see all stars from Earth. Think about how large our sun is. Think about how small the sun is compared to our galaxy. Remember that we're not the only galaxy out there. What's beyond the other galaxies? We may never know. Who's to say that aliens aren't real? We don't have the technology to prove anything. There could be aliens on a near by planet, or their could be aliens beyond our galaxy. I think we're years from ever discovering aliens, but how long it takes for them to discover us is a different story.

I'm just saying anything can be true. Aliens could be hostile, aliens could be peaceful, they might not even be a true alien. But I don't think anyone should disregard the though of them right away. Anything is possible.

This, completely. I think it'd be selfish to consider that the universe was so conveniently made for seven billion humans on one insignificant planet.

I think that Aliens exist because they might have different forms of bodily functions than we do, therefore they can exist on other planets. But whenever I see "alien videos" I doubt them. OFTEN. A lot of people like to trick others. It's not nice. Sad

The chances of extraterrestial life in the universe can be guesstimated. Google Drake's equation.
But yeah I believe they exist.

Drake's equation has flaws though. For example, it's doubtful civilization is the one earmark of an intelligent society. An intelligent society may be on that lives in insolation to keep from hurting people. It does just prove how infinite the possibilities are though.

I believe in other lifeforms, whether they are the aliens, or we are, is irrelevant to me. We are all alien in a way. Idk, I believe in the stargate theory. Ancient Egyptian gods were aliens, and they showed the egyptians technology. So far as I think anyway.

I think it goes back further than the Egyptians. The first ancient civilization of recording was the ancient Samarians and their texts talk about beings coming from the stars and creating humans.

Yes, I believe that it did go back past Egyptians aswell, I was just meaning them as an example. I think they probably visited the Inca and all sorts of people, even cavemen perhaps. Although there is the theory that they killed the dinosaurs. I am not entirely sure about that one, but im open to anything really.

I saw a documentry a few months back on ancient aliens, and I was wondering what some of you think of something they said.

There is a mountain in Japan, and it is where alot of people go to kill themselves, alot. Now researchers believe this has something to do with aliens, and it's something about the feel of the mountain. Do you think aliens have anything to do with it? It is rather spooky and strange....

I think that it's probably more to do with negative energy. (I watch that show, too. Constantly.) I believe in conscious energy and I think a negative place with dark energy has the potential to make people think negatively and do dark things.

Yeah, I had that same thought. Although it is rather strange how it's manifested there, although I must admit, it is a beautiful place...A shame how a place that beautiful can harbour such feelings...

I think we're not alone, but I wouldn't go so far as to say we're not alone for a very, very long distance. Whatever might be out there has a high possibility of being no more than bacteria in the core of Betelgeuse V. Either way, we're certainly not alone.

Apparently some scientists found non-Earth existing biological traces of some sort of life from a meteorite a few months ago...

I believe that there is stuff out there, some form of life. Bacterial, animal, something resembling animal, human, something resembling human... For all we know, maybe the life started on this Earth came from somewhere else? It's a big question, but in the end - yes, I do believe other 'things'/life are out there. Whether they know of us or not is a different question.

I believe there is a huge chance that they exist. I also believe they are more intelligent than life on Earth. Especially since there are stories from people seeing them a long time ago. How can many people tell the same stories from across the world when we didn't have all the technology we have today?

People have also been telling stories about bigfoot, the loch ness monster and fairies. Anecdotal stories people tell aren't always evidence of anything other than groupthink or just word of mouth.

    ------

I definitely believe in life out there, especially since 'life' is a pretty vague statement which could extend even to just 'there's bacteria out there!' Sentient life is another debate entirely. Then again, 'sentient' is somewhat of a debate as well, so who knows?
