Aliens

  • ^ Yeaaaah, and don't you think we would if we could? It's kindasorta what scientists and physicists are working on...

I mean, come on, we don't go probing around other planets that are outside of our own solar system, so why would they?
We send satelities out into our solar system to study other planets. We don't have the scientific capabilities to go ourselves.

  • ^ I said outside of our own solar system. I'm talking about life outside of our 9 (questionable) planets.

My point was that we do it in our solar system because we can't go outside of it. If we could, we would.

    Cause they can?
Yeah, if we could I'm sure we would. So why wouldn't they if they could? Just to see what else is out there. I'm sure other life (if smart enough) would wonder what else is out there and investigate.

Maybe they are looking for food.
    yum yum.
    Lol.
    May 12th, 2008 at 12:42am
  • But who's to say that other life forms are smart enough to have worked out how to leave their solar systems, or whatever, either.

On the other hand, who's to say they haven't. :shifty

    It's a mystery!

  • Right now, I have a lot of belief in my alien theory. I think that aliens actually created humans, and then they either put us on this planet, or created the planet, too. Now, they're just watching us. That's why people claim to see spaceships; the aliens are keeping constant surveillance on us. Is this logical at all? People keep finding proof that life might have existed on planets long ago, but they never actually find an alien. They could be evading us.

  • Maybe they're not smart enough.
Maybe they know all the mysteries of life that we humans don't.
Maybe they haven't even came to Earth - maybe they know nothing about us.

Ever see the movie Mission to Mars (I do believe that's the one). That movie is all about how there was once life on Mars but the planet died, so they all left. But one sent it's DNA to Earth, and that's how evolution started. Never know...

All I know is that I do believe there's life on other planets. Have it be now or at some other point. I believe.

  • i do not belive in aliens! but it would be cool to find like a squigy green thing sitting on your sofa, it'd be kind of cute :D

    Hahah that made me LOL
I'd like to believe in aliens, but I don't think I do. But I hope there's some sort of life form out there :)

  • There's gotta be something.

Surely we can't be alone in the Universe?

    Exactly.

It's a bit stupid to think that Earth is the only planet with the ability to sustain life..

  • I think there are other species living in the universe but I do not believe in this 'they are all green and evil' stuff.

I actually like that theory.
In a crazy sort of way it makes sense...

I believe in aliens; always have and always will.
Like everyone else is saying, it's a little arrogant to think that we're the only living beings in the universe.

I remember a few years ago my mom told me a dream she had that had aliens in it. She said that it almost felt real instead of dream-like.
I'm not gonna sit here and type out the whole thing but she said that 'they' [the aliens] said "it's not you we want, it's the child."
At the time, I was the only kid in the house.
Then she said that the next morning I walked out of my room saying "mommy, there was a man in my room last night."
    I don't remember saying this...at all.

Off topic just a bit, but I thought I'd put in in. :/

Where would evolution come into play then? Like, it could be a theory in science, but they (scientists) believe in evolution and that humans evolved.

But, maybe aliens did put the thing here that made evolution begin.

Maybe aliens came here thousands upon thousands of years ago, to check things out and they left one of their kind behind and it mated with apes to make humans.
    Lol.
I have a hole bunch of random theories about aliens. I make them up in my spare time.
    May 24th, 2008 at 06:22pm
  • Not sure if this was said already, but aliens are mostly likely just to be bacteria and other single-celled organisms, perhaps one day to evolve into more complex creatures. Hey-hey, they could be living on one of the planets of the solar system.

This reminds of the video game 'Prey', where *SPOILER WARNING*
Aliens created humans and put us on Earth to breed just to one day pick us up and use as food. NASTY!!!
    *End of Spoiler*

Kind of. I don't know. If the aliens were friendly, it'd be cool. But if they weren't, that'd be bad.

  • The Motorcycle Boy.:
I do believe in aliens, but only to a certain extent.
I do not think that they are skeletal creatures with webbed fingers and mystical powers, though.
agreed, looking at the tremendous diversity in life on our planet
it would be unlikly that life on other planets would be even close to what aliens are like in movies

  • I don't believe in Aliens.
But boy do I love Doctor Who.
