Movie/Show: Jackass

Just sayin'... Not everyone can like the same things.

^ Naturally not, which is why there's about two billion threads. I never see the point in a person coming in to a thread just to say "don't like this, bye". Fair enough if you had questions and you wondered about some things, otherwise I don't see the point in joining a discussion when you don't want to discuss.

To stay with the Ryan topic:
What are you guys favorite Ryan moment? I think one that will always be extra charming to me is when he gets tared and feathered in Jackass. I don't know why, but that's just so great.

^One of my favorite Ryan moments was definitely the car in the ass. I couldn't stop laughing when he was like "Here's the car, it's blue... my favorite color". & The whole doctor's visit after it was in him was just priceless.

I'm going to be completely honest right now, I do not like Jackass. At all. I do not find it funny and, honestly, I think those guys are mere, well, jackasses, who have nothing better to do with their lives other than shoving things up their asses and eating horse crap. But well, it is entertainment, for people who are into that kind of stuff...

You don't have to tell us that they're jackasses. They are. That's why the show is called Jackass. The guys won't deny the fact that they are in fact jackasses.

They may not have anything better to do but hell, they've made millions doing it. They're obviously doing something right. It's hilarious, people like watching it. I personally love the show and the crew. They're amazing guys.

I can't believe Ryan's gone. That video of Bam crying broke my heart. It shows you just how close the guys were. He shouldn't have gone like that, he was taken from us way too early. But, sadly, things happen, I hope all the guys are alright, especially Bam, those two were so close, like brothers. Jackass won't ever be the same without Dunn.

^ Car in the ass moment was great. Especially how well he was selling it to the doctor, really just going with "I have no idea how it got up there". It's brilliant.

Oh yeah, when Bam cried, so did I. I mean, I was just... it's heartbreaking, because you can see how shattered Bam is and how he's like "what now"? Especially when he's saying "I can't" in response to how he's going to move on. Then when April cries I cry too.

^Yeah, I cried when I watched the interview. I just watched it now. Gah, I just want to hug him forever. Losing someone close to is the worst feeling in the world, I hope he pulls through this. It'll be hard but I think he can do it.

^ I hope he can. I mean, I hope he does it without going too far down first. I don't picture him as someone who would end his own life over this, but I don't want him to have to hit rock bottom before he can move on.

On a semi-related subject, I've been watching so much interviews from the latest movie that I hadn't seen before, and whenever Ryan shows up I tear up.

I started crying when I saw it, that's amazing.
That's a real appreciation and friendship, right there.

^Awe. The video of Bam broke my heart, and also when April said he called her every Mother's Day.

God, the interview with Ape and Phil was hard to watch. Just considering they've known him since he was a kid pretty much, it has to be hard.

Favorite Dunn moment: I just genuinely like the guy. Honestly, he was a sarcastic ass (not in a bad/disrespectful way). Everything he'd reply to would be sarcastic, it was hilarious.

Another favorite Ryan moment of mine is the heart prank in Jackas Number Two. Just the way he sells it so damn good tricking everyone. I love it. And I love how much he laughs at himself when they play pranks on him, like the heart prank or the high five in Jackass 3D.

Also, after viewing additional fotage of Bam at the crash site, it IS Missy that he's with. And that makes me so damn happy because hopefully it means that he's broken up with his three (or four) girlfriends and decided to work on their marriage. Let's hope so, at this hour, I'm sure he needs her.

I cant watch any of the interviews or I think I would start crying.

Favorite Ryan moment will always be the first time the guys met him and he dived in the big tank of poo.

I'll always love the episode of Viva La Bam where Dunn challenges Bam to a race against Bam's lambo. I love the fact that Dunn had a suped-up limo to race against Bam. And then at the end of the race the limo took a dump on Dunn, causing him to lose.

But yeah, I really hope that Bam and Missy work out their issues. (Unpopular opinion: I actually liked Missy.)

I've always loved Missy. More so than Jenn, mostly because she scared me a bit.

Does anyone ever think about getting a Jackass tattoo? It's been on my mind for years, and now I'm geuinely considering getting "RIP Random Hero" on my foot or something.

Jason's tattoo is beautiful. I think that's such a great tribute.

I'd consider getting what. I love Jackass, I just have to find something that I really like that reflects the guys/show to put on my body.

Missy seems more laid back. And she seems genuinely nicer than Jenn. A lot of fans don't like Missy because they think she's a snob. I don't really see it.

I'd totally get a Jackass tattoo. I'd probably get the logo somewhere on me. Those guys have been in my life for about 10 years now and I have mad respect for a lot of the guys. Especially Steve-o. Looking at how he was a few years ago, compared to now, now that he's sober. I couldn't be happier that he turned his life around. I really want to read his new book.

Yeah I so want something else Jackass related too, but it just feels like I want a tribute tattoo to Ryan as well. But something fairly subtle and not huge.

At the end, when he loses it, I did too. I'm crying so bad. Man.

Has anyone else heard the rumour about another Jackass film?
I was told they were bringing back the bad Grandad character but that's all I've heard except for the posters.

I heard the same thing, and I heard a lot of denial about it too. Here's some info.
Personally, I hope it's not true. I mean, I like the grandpa pranks, but I'd rather have the typical, silly Jackass stunts.

I enjoy Jackass, it amuses me. There's just something about people getting hurt and playing absurd pranks on others that I find funny. I've got all three movies, and the box set. I don't own the Lost Tapes DVD or the .5 movies though.
I highly doubt there will be another Jackass movie, as I imagine they wouldn't want to do one without Ryan. Plus, Dave is getting old, he has to be around 45 now.

I think I would enjoy hanging out with the Jackass crew, but in all honesty I think Bam and Steve-O would only be tolerable in small doses.

Also, I've simply got to say it: Ehren is a cutie, especially in the second movie. He seems like such a sweetheart, and I think I'd get along with him the best.
