I love how Hockey is the first topic in the sports section.
My favorite sport of all time, grew up watching/playing it.
My brother is on a roller hockey team and I help him and his friends practice.
Personally I'm a Boston Bruins fan. I was an Avalanche fan when Bourque was on the team.
Then he retired, I was pretty sad when that happened.
But I'm a Bruins fan again and I can't wait until I get cable and I can actually watch all the games.

Bruins pretty much pwn me too. 8)
Same with the Canucks.
Buuuuut I hate the Red Wings and the Leafs.

Oh man I'm not too fond of them either.
I remember in 6th grade there was this kid who absolutely LOVED the Red Wings.
We were so competitive, we use to argue about which team was better all the time.
And we both played hockey too, argued about that.
Which ended up in us organizing teams and trying to compete.
Didn't work out because she couldn't find anyone when I knew like 30 people that play/like hockey.

:tehe: My personal trainer is a huge Leafs fan. And they suck so I'm always making fun of him for it...xD

Haha, I'm like that too.
I love actually being at games.
I don't go to my brothers games as often because I'm always doing something when they have games.
But when I actually do I go up top and bang on the window a lot yelling either "Come on Brandan! Shoot the puck!" or "Beat him up!"
Sometimes the occasional "Get it out of there!" or "Move!"
My brother got an award for being the roughest member of the league. It was really funny, everyone was always scared of him because he's so good at it.

xD We have seasons tickets to the local major-junior team's stadium, so we go to games a fair amount...Actually I'm going to one on Friday...They're pretty awesome, because the players are really good and a lot of them go on to play in the NHL. I love watching hockey live...

I'm so angry at my state though, we used to have the Hartford Wahlers (or however you spelled it, I forget) but now we have no team at all, for ANY sport. It sucks a little.
My Brother's coach always said they should be the states hockey team.
Last time I practiced with them I got hit in the head with a puck. It hurt SO much. My brother's friend James shot it too, and he was pretty much the best/fastest shooter on the team. It was a good thing I was wearing a helmet, it still hurt though.

my cousin got picked up by the OHL...or maybe it was AHL >.> but he quit..or something.

I'm a Colorado and Canucks fan. I haven't been to any NHL games but I've been to lame local ones. Turns out I'm just as angry when I watch those games as I am with NHL games.

I freaking hate the Leafs. A lot of people I know cheer for them so I've learnt not to bash them in front of them.

But anyways, I guess I'm expected to love hockey and worship it...and I do.

I can only play road/floor hockey. We had these refs at the last home game and I'm pretty sure they had no idea how to play hockey and only called our team. Frik I was mad. I almost threw my cell phone at the ref...but my friend took it away. The only sport I actually played a team for constantly was basketball >.>
