I've been riding for about 10 years, nearly 11.
    I had a 4 year gap though :(

I've had 3 ponies on loan. The one I had over the summer was amazing, I love him to bits.

I go to college studying horse management.

I hate it. I liked it when I first started, but now I can't stand it there anymore :(

I've lost my confidence over fences again :( and I don't want to ride in that lesson anymore. After 10 years, saying I don't wanna ride is a big thing.

I had a fall due to rider error about a month ago, just over a month, and now I get really nervous and feel like I can't ride anymore.
My instructor doesn't help either. We have past issues see... :(

I use to horse back ride.
Won bunches of shows all around VA.
I was one of the best at the ranch I used to ride at, then my horse died summer of 08.
    I haven't gotten on a horse since.

    I love horses!
I might be working at a local racetrack soon.
I've never really competed, I usually like to just spend time with the horse, train, ride them.

I have two horses - my thoroughbred Redman and then a 'mixed breed' (we have no idea what she is) Nemo.
I don't ride Nemo because she is only 15"3 I believe. Redman is about 16"2. I'm about 6 ft 2 I think, so yeah, I only ride tall horses >.<

I used to ride competitively a fair bit, but I got sick of the way it was so competitive and bitchy. All I wanted to do was have fun.
So yeah, now I just ride for fun :)

I don't have my own horse but I've been riding since February of this year.

So far, I can walk, trot, canter, jump cross poles and small uprights, rein back and other things like that. I haven't competed in any shows but I hope I will get the chance to as I become a better rider. :)

I used to love being around all the horses at the farm I used to work at.
I thought it was such a great job.
But I couldn't stand the people there and I don't want to go back.
Plus, they kept their horses poorly. I'm looking for somewhere new to go.

I've been riding for about 7 years ^_^
I compete on the Central American/North American international circuit. I jump 3"6.
I also compete in the Costa Rican dressage circuit, and I'm starting to compete in Endurance and Reining.

I lease an Appy mare named CR Liberty. She's amazing, and I love her to bits and pieces <3

I've dabbled in competing, but I would much rather help train them.

I miss riding. I rode for about 8 years, but had to quit because the barn where I boarded my horse got sold. I did showjumping and dressage with my love Cyrano. He was 16.3 I think, which was crazy because at the time I couldn't have been more than five foot. I had to get my dad to lift me up to get on. Haha. I was terrible at dressage, but I always did really well at showjumping. I think I did a few classes at 3'6".

Aww. Nostalgia. I really want to start back up.

I used to, and then I almost got bucked off. Now I'm scared to ride horses with other people.

    Oooooh, this is all riding.
I'm probably the only one here who does trotting races instead. I used to ride when I was younger, and I still ride for fun sometimes, but I prefer trotting races. At least I have a tiny bit of talent in that, which I really don't when it comes to just regular horse riding. XD

I've been riding for about 7 years now, and I love it. I wish we could afford to pay the board, because I'd love to have my own, but it's just too expensive.

For a second I was afraid there wasn't a horse back riding topic. I know I get into debates if riding is a sport all the time. But yeah I've been riding for almost 9 years, never had my own horse, am currently riding a 15.3 hh OTTB mare and a 16 hh OTTB gelding. I've shown a little and am trying eventing in the fall which should be intresting because the horse I'll probably ride is a maniac at cross country. Oh and does anyone else do Polocross?

Oh my gosh, I love horses!

Unfortunately, I don't have a horse since I live in the city, but I have been doing on and off riding lessons. I'm hoping to get back into riding this summer and continue till fall.
