Soccer

Soccer is cool. :shifty

I love soccer. I played for an all-girls local team for a couple of seasons, but my parents made me quit because they wanted me to get a job.

Anyone else?

I played soccer for about second-fifth grade.
It was funn.
And we got free food.

Soccer was rad.

I went with the school teams (A and B) to a carnival and got put as goalie.
A whole day, swapping to play both teams, 6 games instead of 5.
0 goals scored against :mrgreen:

But ... :shifty I find being goalie really mentally traumatising.
So I don't play soccer nowz.

My family and I spent the entire time we were on an Alaska cruise inside watching Fifa. xD

I've played soccer since ummm kindergardent. Then stopped to play football and now I'm playing it again. :con:

I remember playing soccer in elementary school.
I was always the one who spaced out and got hit in the face.
Either that or the goalie.
I was an awesome goalie.

I'm a REALLY good keeper if I do say so myself.

I played during one of the last weeks of school for 2 hours with a bunch of people from my school.

I played mainly in mids - lots of running around, just how I like it. :tehe:

Occassionally my coach would get me to play in defence, but the problem is the teams we played had the roughest players in forward and I'm small [yet, nonetheless tough] so I had to match up to them.

I used to play with the boys on the park when I was a kid. But I was useless as a striker so they put me as a centre back.

Every American child plays soccer. Most of them hate it and stop. xD It's not a big sport over here - obviously. I played it in 1st grade. I didn't have much stamina, so I sucked, quite and moved to baseball. But now I'm good at it and like it.
For some reason I don't like watching Chicago Fire play. I'm more of an Arsenal fan, though I rarely get to see the games 'cause I don't have the Sports Package on my TV.

I've played soccer since I was in kindergarten grade soo about ten, nearly eleven years.

I play club ball and high school ball, so I basically play year round. I almost got burned out on the sport, though... it sucked. D; But now, I guess, I'm right back at it...

It was quite painful.

I played from 4 until I turned 13- goalie and defender. I was ok- nothing special, but I enjoyed it. I actually quit playing when I had a huge bust- up with my manager, but now I'm a referee (the pay makes up for any abuse I get, or at least the minor incidents).Soccer officially rules! I'm trying to get my school to set up a girls' team, but htey're holding out on me so far...

I like soccer but I don't know if I'm any good at it. I would've tried out this year but I was too afraid to. I think I will next year though.

Don't be scared to try it. Some people take it way too seriously, but the majority are just in it because they enjoy playing. Go for it. :D

I had to go against this giant guy and I tripped/tackled him while getting the ball and all the parents on the sideline were like "OOOOOOOO" :lmfao
