Soccer

i luv football [or soccer as some of u guys mite say]....i luv playing it with my brothers n cousins but the sad thing is that the girls can't play it for the PE lesson as its not "for their curriculum" which i always say in air quotes xD...man i hate this sexism shi-.

I hear ya. I tried suggesting to the head of PE that we swap PE classes with the boys- we try footall and they play netball- and he just laughed! Keep pushing for a girls football team. It's taken me 4 years, but I've finally worn down one of the teachers enough to say that he'll organise a girl's match with the local 6th form college. From small beginnings...

im alwyas telling her every PE lesson, even most of my friends and classmates join in but she just keeps sayin "not part of the curriculum". I've only got about 4 months of highschool left anyway, i doubt they'd even care.

Oh well i guess its just playing wid the boys at breaktimes and lunchtimes then.

Just because your PE teacher probably can't play and doesn't want to be shown up by your class, doesn't mean to say that you guys shouldn't be allowed to play. That's absolute bullshit!

Are there many in your class who are interested in playing football then?

I just found out I have the most goals in the state of California for high school soccer, haha. Sadly, we're not listed on maxpreps. );

I play some pretty wicked offence.

i play some mad offence too. Does anyone actually watch soccer too? I like to watch the Spanish (Spain) soccer teams, because they kick ass. I don't watch American soccer, because it's not as good as the European soccer. I remember when Beckham was still on Real Madrid. Those were the good days.

I used to play soccer when I was in in primary school, but when I went up to secondary school they only had a boys team and wouldn't let girls try out for it.

I love it soooo much :D its the best sport ever ^^I played in the defence as well :D I love to play and I watch every game on tv :3
and I like the fact Toni came to Germany hrhr ^^

Our school doesn't have a girl's soccer team... I was so pissed because they wouldn't let me join the boys team. T_T

I love soccer, mainly because I love to run.
But I play almost every position, my favorite is Midfield.

I don't really follow soccer; I only tune in during the World and Euro Cups.
But wow, it really must suck for those of you who don't even have a girls' teams at school. =\

Soooo FA Cup Final tomorrow :D should be better than last year's, although you can't get much worse tbh.

I am not a big fan of soccer but I am looking forward to the European soccer championship in June =). All the different people from different countries and this special atmosphere.. just awesome.
