I love soccer, or football as most of the world calls it. I watch my team play religiously on TV (Manchester United) even though they're not doing so well at the moment, especially since that 6-1 thrashing to City. And losing to Crystal Palace at home?!

I really hope they pick up their form back again soon.

I hope the same goes for my Blackburn. Unsure I'll cry if we don't stay up but judging by recent performances, we'll deserve it if things continue.

And City aren't going to be consistent all season, they don't know how to. United will be Champions again.

Yeah, Blackburn's been having an awful run lately and same goes for Sunderland. No wonder they sacked Steve Bruce ;o

True, City's awful in Europe. They're third in their group, and it's weird since most of the players in the team have CL experience.

Is it just me or is this season really unpredictable at the moment? Teams who people expect to be at the top dropping points, and Newcastle appearing from nowhere etc.? And Arsenal who got thrashed 8-2 by United suddenly just climbing back up? van Persie is truly an excellent asset for Arsenal, I hope he doesn't leave any time soon.

And as if by magic, Blackburn beat Swansea! Yakubu was such a beast today, and Mauro Formica worked the hardest out off all of them. No longer bottom, Con I shall be smug for the next few days.

Manchester United too, though it must be a huge blow to lose Chicharito for the Champions League.

I'm also actually really surprised that Chelsea beat Newcastle by such a large margin. I really thought that Chelsea were going to lose at the Sports Direct Arena Facepalm

Yup, and Blackburn won by a pretty good margin too, ahah.

Anyway...I'm happy with the three points that Manchester United got for beating Aston Villa...but I dunno, they're lacking the flair they had last season. D; And I'm totally bummed that Chicharito would be out for a month, he's become pretty valuable to the team and losing him when we need him on Wednesday against Basel is not good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things would be all good, hopefully.

I think, as long as Man Utd don't do anything stupid, they'll get a result against Basel. Chelsea too! I'm sure they can take all three points off of Valencia.

Ah, it seems Blackburn will be the first side to face Sunderland under a new manager. I fully respect Martin O'Neill, but we've turned a corner, so he better watch out, the Riversiders are coming, haha.

Both of the Manchester clubs are now in the Europa League...a massive shock for English football :/ Especially with Arsenal through and I remember when everyone was writing them off at the start of the season after losing Fabregas and Nasri and losing 8-2 to United.

Yeah, I'm not happy about United being in the Europa League and they could have had a chance to win that game quite easily but eh :/ And it sucks that Vidic is injured. They're definitely not the club they were last season.

I'll hold up my hands and say, yes I did giggle a little bit when I watched the Manchester United game. I know, since Blackburn probably won't make it into Europe in my life time, that I should offer my support for any English club. Saying that, all the teams in Europe this season have given Blackburn a fair few beatings in recent times so any misfortune they have I'll take advantage of.

Athletic Bilbao to win the Europa, only 20/1.

Barcelona B players playing in Champions League game and still managing to win. The future is blaugrana. OMGYES

Yeah, my Facebook newsfeed is full of, "Hahaha United, hahahah City. Hahaha, they should release a perfume called Channel no.5."
...I admit I cracked a grin when I saw that. BUT UNITED BETTER GET THEIR GAME SOONER OR LATER. This has been quite a disappointing season for them, I'm really hoping Sir Alex Ferguson will invest in some good central midfielders in January...at least try to do good in the Europa. If they do badly in the Europa...I shudder at the amount of jokes that are sure to follow. XD

...Haha true, poor Blackburn. D; I remember the 7-1 score last season. x]

That just shows how hideously good Barcelona is, if they can just play their second team and still manage to win >.< I'm not very fond of Barcelona, them beating United twice in a row at the Champions League final aside, Sergio Busquets just really annoys me.

I get crap on my Facebook almost every weekend >.< Usually consisting of 'LOL u r goin down haha' and all that mature stuff that people say about Blackburn.

I feel that the Europa league will be a bit less competitive now that the two Manchester clubs are in it now. About five teams were in with a good shot but now, unless they play weak sides, those two will end up in the final.

I actually quite like Sergio Busquets. I mean, I know he is a little of a diver but I don't believe for one minute that he doesn't deserve every medal he has ever won. He played more football during the World Cup than Fabregas, Torres, Alonso, Iniesta and in fact, most players in the Spanish team, at only 22. For Barcelona, who don't have the best defenders, he protects the CB's very well, even plays in that position sometimes since Pique can't last three games.

I understand why people dislike him, but I think he's brilliant. In Love

Yep, the competition in the Europa League will be much reduced, the two Manxhester teams are better than 99% of the teams in the Europa and it's quite obvious one of them would probably end up winning the competition and it'll probably be a two-horse race.

True, Sergio Busquets is a fantastic player, diving aside. It seems like everyone who was in the Barcelona youth team went on to become great players later on in life. Speaking of Barcelona, I'm totally excited for the El Clasico! Though I don't go for any teams in the La Liga, I'm definitely watching it and it's going to be quite an interesting game. Real Madrid has the home advantage and they're much better than they were last season while Barcelona hasn't been very good away from home. But then again, they always seem to step up their game against Real.

So...this was a while ago but Barcelona won at the Bernabeu. I was actually backing Madrid, I actually thought they would win because Barcelona's been lacking away form and Real's been such beasts lately. But that shows you how terrifyingly good Barcelona is and I wouldn't be surprised if they won the Champions League again. :/

MANCHESTER CITY LOST TO CHELSEA 2-1. Woot, woot. I know this sounds really mean but I'm glad as Manchester United is now only two points behind them, I'm quite confident now that United would take the lead sooner enough. But City's confidence is not going to be shattered for long.

I don't particularly like Real Madrid but I thought they would win against Barcelona, but I suppose we can never rule out Barca to beat their rivals. Ronaldo once again was very quiet in a big game, I don't seem him worthy of winning the World Player of the Year award for that kind of performance. Xavi should win it – win it because it's the only thing he hasn't won yet!

I get this weird pleasure watching Manchester City lose, don't know why, I just do.

Seb Larrson destroyed my Sunday, I hope he's happy. And Wigan even winning, what is this crap?! Thank God Bolton are bigger imbeciles that the Blackburn are.

Barca's unbeatable to big teams...yet they can slip up and draw/lose to small teams who can only dream of winning a trophy. It's crazy. Yeah, it kind of annoys me how when a majority of people think of Real Madrid, they think, "Ronaldo, Ronaldo Ronaldo," when Ozil and Di Maria are just as good. I'm pretty sure it's a Barca player who's gonna win the World Player of the Year award, I'd put money on it.

Same here, I just get a tingly, happy feeling when City lose. Some guy on my Facebook who is a City fan was like, "city will beat chelsea 3-0!!1111!!!" Aha. I'm hoping Arsenal will beat City on Sunday but I'm not sure. Though City is a big team with lots of egos clashing so hopefully.

I know, I was surprised to see Sunderland beat Blackburn because Sunderland has been incredibly bad lately. But maybe it's the new manager and all.

Blackburn suck, I don't even have any excuses for them anymore. Something has to change, and soon.

Barcelona won the Club World Cup, needless to say I wasn't that shocked. Poor David Villa though, Fernando Llorente might get more game time for Spain.

And Arsenal, stop booing Nasri! You bitter, bitter people.

Ugh, there's this annoying dude I know who fits the definition of a glory hunter supporter, he used to support Manchester United and when they got thrashed by City, he switched to City and when City beat Arsenal yesterday to be on top of the EPL again, he was like, "ahaha city iz on top agen aha man u sux u were dere for only 2 hrs!!" Facepalm

Speaking of Arsenal and City, I was quite impressed at how Arsenal played even though City eventually won, they're a top team.

Oh the Christmas joy when you're bottom of the league and odds on to be relegated. I will say however, how can those people that chant abuse at Steve Kean expect the players to react? I mean, yes Yakubo seemed to burst out second half but Formica looked like he'd lost all hope in everything at times. Dunn can go lie down somewhere, the man worked his socks off.

I envy those who don't have to deal with this relegation crap.

Moving on, Darren Fletcher, my goodness! That poor soul, I hope he gets better quickly, he's truly a strong individual and captain of the Scots, he has to get back to full fitness.

Luis Suarez banned for eight games for making racial slurs against Patrice Evra and apparently if he's charged for the middle finger he did against Fulham fans, it might be extended to ten games. Damn. o.o

I'm glad they're cracking down on racism though. I find it kind of ridiculous that he tried to justify the racism by claiming that it wasn't racist in South America. It's like, "Oh c'mon dude, you've been in Europe for four years now."
