I played soccer for about 2 years. Defense and goalie. I only ever let 1 goal in for 2 years.

They made me wear these huge goggles because I wasn't allowed to wear my glasses on the field. They made horrible marks on my nose. But then I switched to smaller glasses and then it didn't do that anymore.

    I LOVE SOCCER!!!!

    It's the best.
    I play centre-mid, and I love it;]

Except it's reallly annoying, being mid you have to run around everywhere, which I just love to do, but the other teams, always target me since I do most the running. Every week I've been rammed, injured and everything!!! It's been 4 times I've nearly dislocated my shoulder, and recently, some fat bitch rammed me and I literally went flying a whole metre! Then I landed head first, then nearly dislocated my shoulder, and the whole side of my leg is grazed -.^
    I'm fine now though ;D

I've played soccer throughout all my life. I was in a kindergarten mixed team, boys ang girls; at elementary school, I played with the girls local team, was the only girl in the boy's team, and kids fought over who got to choose me :XD. Middleschool was not different over elementary; I played at the girl's team, the boy's team, a mixed team with my neighbors, and I sitll had a chance to play with my brother and cousins. On highschool I played for a time at the highschool's team, but the stupid coach was... well, stupid; he didn't knew the basic rules of soccer, so our team was composed of pansy girls that were afraid of getting hit by the ball!

Finally, during college, I finally found an all-girls league and I'm entering; actually, tomorrow is my first game of the season, so wish me luck!

And I'm really exited for the upcoming World cup :D :D :D

Honestly Portugal probably won't win. But I do remember they came in 4th a few years ago, that's good.

I'm predicting Spain the winner. But I shouldn't jinx it.

Yeah I know that Portugal wont win with the way they play know... :( its sad, but still I will cheer for them... In a way I hope they don't qualify though, because if they do they will most likely be beaten in the early stages. So I hope they can rebuild their team and come back stronger and better in the European cup.

My guess is Spain or Brazil to win...but who knows there are a lot of great national teams out there so who knows....:)

Yeah. I know what you mean. I hate it when my favorite team loses.

And Christiano Ronaldo got sold to Madrid, I'm upset. Why not Torres?

All I know that Torres has signed a 1 year deal at Liverpool, and then who knows where he will play next...and for Ronaldo I really don't mind much where he play in clubs as long he perform well for the national team :)

Torres signed another deal this year for Liverpool until 2013. =/ Whatever as long as he keeps scoring ridiculous goals for Spain.

Yeah I kind of love the national team more, than the teams I support.

    SPAIN FTW.

I want them, Brazil or Argentina tbh.

Hay, so what do you guys think of the Real Madrid situation? Was buying Kaka and Ronaldo a good descion?

A lot of people are giving Real shit for it, but personally, I'll stand by my team regardless of what happens <3

Fernando signed another deal with Liverpool. I hope he goes back to Spain soon though.

And I think the deal Madrid made was decent. Ronaldo and Kaka are good players, and Real Madrid is a good team. So it all works out well.

why do I have a feeling America's going to lose tomorrow? :tehe:

I wish I still played, I was midfield. I was one violent player. Believe it or not.

I wish I still played too, but I don't want to put my favorite sport to shame.

Honestly I can see the US losing 6-0 like Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and New Zealand are both teams that resemble the US (playing wise) lost badly against Spain.
