    Softball.

Not exactly the most exciting sport for me... but I've been playing since I was nine. XD

I play pitcher on my school's senior team. Last few seasons I was on the junior team, being in years 7-9 and all. We won the premiership everytime. >_>

    So yes. Discuss softball.

I love playing it in PE.
Though, I usually don't show much effort.
    I do enjoy it.

I stopped playing in grade 5 for the team because I got a line drive in the ribs. Hurt like a mofo. I played in gym but I never really did anything. I was good at it but I was kinda..bored of it.
I played for the first time this year during orientation week at my university. There was me and two other girls..the rest were boys xD

I don't play for the high school yet, but I've been playing for sponsered leagues for five years (since I was nine as well) and I've been catcher for four of those years.

I play the 9'' fast pitch softball (at my level now that's about 40-50 mph)- not the 12'' slow pitch the guys also play. I've been playing now going on seven years. I used to be a catcher for three seasons, but I have the genes for weak knees. So every time I'd go up to bat after catching my knees would shake. I've basically played every position except for pitcher. My main positions now, though, are 2nd and outfield. Been playing those for three seasons.

Well I've been playing travel fastpitch for five seasons now- six if you count the upcoming one.
I'm an outfielder. I slap-bunt and have trained myself to hit from the left. Basically, the only thing I'm good for is speed.
I want to quit. I'm sick of it.

I've been playing for...nine years now, I guess? I just started catching about three or four years ago. I love this sport so much and all of the things that come with it - the friendships, the championships. And even the losses, because they make you humble again and realize that you aren't a perfect team.

I've been playing since I was like five.
I enjoy the sport but I hate getting serious with it,
    I hate the pressure.

I don't know why I still play for the city to be quite honest.

I've been playing for 5 years and I love it, I usually play catcher and or in field, I had a game last night, my team this year in undefeated I'm so pumped! I cut my leg pretty bad sliding though, my slider doesn't always stay up I guess.

I played softball forEVER, like 12 years haha.
Last season, I tore my ACL so no college sports for me :(
I even got drafted by Texas Tech, but that went out the window with my injury.

I played center field and 2nd hitter; I was a slapper.

We won our all star tournament!
The game was fucking epiccc. We were wining up until the bottom of the 6th inning(we were the away team), and then we were losing 5-4. :mrgun:
We all were like 'nooo, we're NOTT gonna lose.'
And we all just started hitting.
    We got seven runs.
And then made a quick 3 outs.
We were all freaking out that we won xD

THENN, after that, we found out that not only did we win districts, but we're skipping sectionals and going straight to states because there wasn't enough teams. Smile

    Yayyy Smile

This year was my first playing softball.
I'm usually a right fielder, but I sometimes play second and pitcher (:
I think it's a lot of fun, even though I'm not that great at it.. yet!

I love softball. I am my teams main pitcher, 3rd baseman and back up catcher. I'm third in the batting line up. I want to go to rep but i can't make the commitment yet. I probably won't be able to get the chance.

I miss playing softball. I used to play 2nd baseman. I remember the time when I got hit in the face with the ball when I was in 3rd base. :XD
But the sport is fun. :cute:
