I love swimming in pools. And the ocean. But chlorine is the place to be.
My stroke is 50 freestyle sprint.

And I can hold my breath for about 40 + seconds.

I've been swimming since I was about 2, I learned to swim before eating hard food. :lmfao

I went competitive near the end of sixth grade. I was actually a soccer player most of my life until I hurt my knee. I couldn't play soccer anymore so I decided to join the swim team and since then I've been doing it.

Swimming's my life. Fersure.

I might go back in a few months, to my high school team.

Haven't done it in ages, but I actually really really love it when I'm in the water.

I'm huge fan of swimming, I've played waterpolo for the last 5 years.
I'm not that great at race-swimming, but I've always managed to get into my school's interschool team each year. We suck though XD

I like doing that in pools though, or mountain rivers(big ones, duh!). I don't feel safe in lakes, for some reason. I'm weird like that.
I enjoy it so much... it's just so comfortable, and refreshing and everything...

I love swimming, I practically grew up with my parents forcing me to do sports since its so healthy and they do it themselves too, I picked swimming as my main sport my specific synchronic swimming... and I enjoy it even though I stopped since earlier in the year to take a break from everything, I should start again O_o Isn't swimming one of the best sports out there since you use all of your muscles? Don't really know but I love doing it =D

Swimming is my favorite sport. I'm not on a team or anything, but I usually spend the majority of my summer at my grandparents' pool.

I learned to swim when I was about four. And I can swim the length of the pool without taking a breath, but for time, the last time I checked it was about 45 seconds. Swimming is fun. And I finally perfected my dive last year. =D

Bah, I'm on the swim team. It's pretty cool. I have stay underwater for a minute. I think it's around 80 laps every Sunday. But in the summer we have to do 80 laps 5 days a week. :(

I swim like a fish!- Not, but I do have a life saving certificate to show that I have some beginners qualification or some shit. I love swimming :D

I used to swim loads, but now I can't because to get into the nearest swimming pool you have to pay like, millions of Euros. At my first swimming lesson I nearly drowned when I walked off of a step that went rather deep (I was a short kid, sue me) and my mom had to save me. :XD

I looove to swim ^^ I should do it more often.. but like AngelDemon, to go to the nearest swimming pool you need to be a millionaire or something -_-; It's also about 20 miles away =P But yeah, I love it ^^ very peacegiving (if that's a word xD)

I love swimming. I'm on 3 teams, 4 next year! All my friends think I'm completely crazy to wake up early every morning to swim, but i find it super relaxing. I swim freestyle, and some backstroke. I'm more of a sprinter, and I HATE long course. I swim 100 free, and 100 back. but I also love swimming 50's when I am given the chance [in relays and such] I'v been on a swim team since I was like 6. so it comes pretty naturally to me!! Chlorine is like my life! :D 8) :mrgreen:

Lol I'll be the little thirteen year old standing next to Ryan Lochte, looking awestruck and in love at the same time.
I made a bonus time for Sectional's last year...so maybe I'll make it this year :D

I'm a backstroker and a distance swimmer, but I'm a pretty well rounded swimmer so I'm good at IM's. The 200 free's a strong event for me too.

I use to be on a swim team and do competitions and such when I was in Primary school. Then I gave it up and put on a load of weight.

I've started swimming again now though, and try and go two or three times a week. I find it's like the most relaxing exercise there is. :XD
