I swim on a swim team.
    Which is great.
    Swimming is my passion.
    Butterfly is my easiest stroke.
In a 25 sprint my butterfly time is faster than freestyle.
And who knows how long I can hold my breath?

I used to be really good at swimming; I was easily the fastest in my group, and reasonably neat. I stopped once I achieved 1000 metres though, because there just weren't any more badges (we used a badge system) to earn, and I found it pointless.

    Sometimes I miss it, sometimes I don't.

I swim.. Every week twice or three times for three hours at local pool. On holidays every day twice for at least four hours. In the sea Rolling Eyes.

I'm not really good, though. My best result in breaststroke is 13.5.. Like SLOW Sad

But I still love swimming all the way. It's just that feeling that you are gently sliding through water and it is all around you and it feels like you are all alone in the world. A thing worth living for :)

Yeah, swimming is not my life, but it's quite a large part of it.

And, do you wanna know a secret? I can hardly swim freestyle Embarassed..

I've been swimming! For four years. I swim year-round on my local swim team. And I'm so happy because I made it to Junior Olympics as a thirteen year-old this year.

I've been swimming competatively for about 10 years now. I'm not very fast though, except for in breaststroke. I started on competative team when I was 6 and I quit that team a few months ago during high school season. I felt old since I was being passed by 12 year olds, including my brother, and I was the only girl my age left.

I enjoy high school swimming, even though there are still people on there that annoy the hell out of me.

And I get to experience a summer team this year. :) happiness...

I love swimming, but recently took a break for the basketball season. Thank goodness the swim team and bball seasons don't run into each other, then I would have to make a hard choice. I'm still a sophmore, and I'm going to have to commit to one or the other within the next year and a half, unfortunately :(

I'm a swimmer. I've been in the water since I was a few months old and was put into lessons ASAP. I was a competitive swimmer for six or so years, but quit a year ago because my body couldn't handle it - I was swimming five times a week for an hour and a half, not including comps every weekend and stretching sessions and dry land. I came back to swimming roughly six months ago, and my times had improved while I wasn't swimming. My body had needed the rest and was grateful it got it.

I now swim three times a week for an hour each, only two or so comps a term and no dry land. I stretch before swimming because its routine.

My favourite stroke is butterfly, and my 50m time is 37 seconds, three seconds slower than my free. I despise both breaststroke and backstroke, but am told constantly that I have beautiful technique in both.

I can hold my breath underwater for a minute, and can butterfly kick under water for 35m - no fins.

When I was little, I had the biggest fear of swimming, to the point where my parents thought I was never going to learn. So, they tossed me in "sink or swim" style, and I've been loving it ever since.

I swam competitively through middle school, but didn't compete in high school because it conflicted with marching band, and then swimming kind of dropped off my radar except recreationally.

Now, I swim at my university's rec center where they have a huge natatorium with lanes. I want to eventually start swimming in triathlons instead of just for cross training for 10Ks.

Hello! Are there anyone here who started swimming at school and reached professional heights? I myself cannot boast of this. One day I simply realized that my skills were too far from ideal and left the sport. But I'm still betting - https://1xbetbd.com As far as I know, this is a common choice among those who have given up professional sports.
