    We all do.

And I agree. Grammar is evil. Grr I only know so much about it thanks to the four years of English that the state of Michigan requires every student to have in order to get their high school diploma... Yak

    OMGYES Another Michigan Mibbian, hai!

But yeah, it was a total bitch, I scored perfect on the English portion of the ACT, NBD. File
As for imperfect, I agree, pretty much everyone writes in imperfect. Perfect is kind of awkward in fiction, in my opinion. But that might just be because I like informal narration.

I wrote a story not published here that was in present tense and I really hated it. So I write in past tense now.

You Writer, You Liar was present-tense as well. I think it sucks you into Ryan's mentally fucked up head a bit more.

I write in past tense. I have one or two stories in present tense, but it's too difficult to keep the present tense constant. Past tense is much easier to keep consistent.

I love past tense. Past tense is so easy to flow into. I don't think I've read a fic around here in present. I can't exactly remember.

I can't remember the last time I wrote a story in past tense. Think I've tried to write it recently but it doesn't flow as easily for me, and I end up mixing tenses a lot more, so I mostly stick to present. I like future tense, though, for flashforwards and stuff. It's really fun to write and I love the way it reads.

I'm a past tense writer, it's the one I'm most comfortable writing with. I only write in present tense if it's fitting for the story, or if the only way I can imagine writing it is in present tense.

I always write in past tense, since everything I write in the present tense always sounds awkward. Although, I'm really bad with tenses anyway and tend to mix them a lot without realising Facepalm Past is my go to tense though, every time.

I like writing in present tense to be more urgent and en media res and past tense for a more wistful feel. Future tense is weird. I don't do that.
