Aha. I completely beleive in the paranormal. But just because you're assertive doesn't mean some of them won't harm you. I had a experience when I could legitimately feel myself being pulled out of my body. It's a horrible feeling really. I was vulernable in my half awake state. I whispered something like, "I'm alive, I'm alive." and fucking jolted to a heave of air, and an unsettling feeling. Shifty

I still have no clue what it was. It strummed my guitar, whispered "There is no God here" when I was saying my prayers. The asshole runs through the walls of the house making noise. There is so much negative energy here it just loves it. Bothers me because I say my prayer's and am aware it is here.

There was a fire on our property in the early 1900's, Shelly (our native neighbour) had a Shaman come in, because she could feel the spirits, but they never really left, I don't feel.

I don't know what has been taunting me, though. I don't think it was a Poltergeist. Something a little more deviant I guess.

lmfao I feel crazy saying all this. XD

They never appear in front of me. Ever. They just... screw around with me. I don't know if Ihave anyone watching me or helping me. It's just me trying to keep a good aura around myself.

You don't sound crazy. Of course, I've heard crazier shit. Like what I'm about to ask.
Has anyone heard of a thing called psychic bonds? Is there any info you have on it?

I've never had an experience with a spirit, though my brother has (his friend's basement is haunted by his great grandparents, who founded the land or something like that, along with other spirites). And the same friend was in our basement and heard someone calling (I forget what the name was). He ran upstairs and asked if we had been calling out the name, and we said we hadn't.

I don't know if I'd like to see a ghost in my house, or anywhere. I think that I'd like to be able to talk to a nice spirit or something like that, but ever since I was little I have been terrified of the paranormal (though I still research it and watch movies and do things like tarot cards, etc.)

Actually, every time I read things about ghosts, spirits, etc. my nose gets blocked up and my eyes tear up, and I don't know why... It sounds and seems pathetic, but reading about spirits and things doesn't upset me. It scares me a bit, but not enough for me to cry. o.O weird...

I don't know if there's just something wrong with my TV but last night I was watching this channel where every show was about something paranormal. I got a little scared and decided to go to sleep instead as it was pretty late at night. Though there was something telling me that I should watch this. I ignored it and turned the TV off, not just using the remote control but pushing the off button on the TV. Suddenly, it turned itself on again and I thought it was just the TV acting up so I turned it off again. Again, it turned itself on. It was like something was forcing me to watch that show (Paranormal Activity).

Of course I got scared and told my older brother to turn off the TV and when he did, it didn't turn itself back on again.

I'm not sure if this is a "paranormal" stuff but a week after my granddad passed away, I dreamed of him. In my dream we were at a family gathering in his house and he was sitting on the chair where he usually sat. He didn't talk or anything; he only sat there, watching us interacting with one another. Weird thing is none of my relatives noticed him - only I was the one who did. Mum said maybe he wanted me to pray for him (the relatives from my dad is really religious but I wouldn't call myself religious).

So a week after my granddad passed away, my mum asked if I dreamed of him. Apparently my aunt that was (and still is) in Canada dreamed of him too. She and her family couldn't attend his funeral. She dreamed that Granddad visited her house in Canada and said, "This is a nice house."

This just happened last June. I wonder if those are signs for something.

I had a milder experience a few months ago. I was in my living room on my laptop and the TV was on, and we were having really bad winds outside. So naturally, I thought this was causing the bad reception we were getting on TV.

Anyway, we have two small wall-lights in our living room, and all of a sudden they started blinking on and off really rapidly, as did the TV. On, off, on, off for nearly a solid minute. I just sat there kind of like O_o for a while, because I generally don't get freaked out by these things, they fascinate me. I thought at first it was the weather causing a power cut, which happens a lot with bad weather around here, but then I realized that the kitchen light had remained fine, and my Da's laptop, which was charging, didn't have the standby light blink on and off.

    It was cool. xD

Two paranormal things happened to me after my grandfather died.

During his wake, I was just reading a book on a couch, not really moving or doing anything strenuous, when suddenly I heard a crack by my ear. I shifted to find out what it was, and my glasses fell off of my face, snapped in two pieces. So that was weird.

The second time was during my Latin final exam. My iPod randomly turned on at full volume. It had been sitting in my bag, undisturbed, when it just burst into a huge cacophony. Very embarrassing, although I'm thinking what may have happened is that one song was just automatically louder than the others and my iPod had been on the whole time, I just hadn't noticed. Weird nonetheless.

Nothing strange has happened since, though.

I don't really believe in the paranormal, but I think our deceased loved ones are closer than we think. For instance, years ago when my great-grandpa died, my mom had a dream that she was sitting in the car with him, and he turned to her and said, "You and you're mother and grandmother need to stop getting torn up over me."
She says that it was just like she was really sitting next to him, and talking to him.

There's something in our house, I don't know what it is, but I can tell that it does not like females. You can feel just by being here, it hates women. My brother has never experienced it and neither has my stepdad, but my sister, my mum and I all have had things happen. I've had stuff thrown at me, usually bottles and books in the bathroom. My sister has felt stuff watching her, things in her room being in a different place she left them, my mother has had something follow her up the stairs, I've had those too. I can definitely feel a prescence in this house... ;|

That quite possibly could be the case. Or I am completely crazy. These three things happened around the same time though. It's died down completely, actually, all the noises. It's like with the negative energy in our house gone, whatever was here left.

If there was anything, I could have just been imagining everything, but I have to say I was very convinced at the time. When I had the half awake-- episode, or whatever. I wasn't really in a panic, I was just, as if I was being absorbed into the light. It didn't feel exactly demonic or dark, it was fairly peaceful, my foggy mind just connected a light to death, and I believe that's why I whispered I'm alive. Shifty

Supernatural? Probably not. Paranormal, abnormal, a touch. Shifty

This first one isn't really about anything paranormal, it just kind of freaked me out. Back when I was on Quizilla I read something about this girl who died, her sister posted it on her account. I almost started crying and it felt as if something was watching me. In fact, up until recently, it -always- felt like something was watching me. That one just kind of spooked me, I suppose.

The next one was when I had my laptop, I was sitting in my chair just reading, I suppose. It felt as though something was watching me again, I had my light off so it made it kind of freakier. I turned around to see something in front of my door. This is kind of the...hardest to believe? Somewhat...Anyway, there was someone maybe three inches taller than me standing against the left said of my wall, with their leg proped up again the wall.

I'd identify them as male, because that is what they looked like to me. It was dark, but I believe they were wearing a black coat, something that went all the way down their body and a hat that was kind of...high on the top? I think they were watching me, I don't know. I turned back around, looked back, stared and then they were gone.

The next one was after my dad showed me a picture of my dead, what I think was, my great, great, great uncle. A few days later I was lying awake and I saw that very same face floating above where my fan was. I was frozen with shock, I was too scared to move or say anything. The next night it was there again, I said 'hello' and no sound. It just floated there, next night it was there. I spoke to it, saying hello, asking things. Still nothing. After that it was gone.

Another time I had this urge to open my window, so I did. I laid there staring at the window and this white...fog like/human shape thing flew passed my window and around the house across from my window and disappeared. Another night I had the urge to go outside, so I did and sat next to the tree. Two kids come out of the trailer in back of mine, young kind of. Wearing hoodies, one was laughing and another had their arms crossed. They walk behind into the road where I cannot see them because of my shed and don't come out.

Another ties into when my ex Jake died, after he died his accounts started logging in along with my best friends old account, they started IM'ing me, talking like my ex and everything. Acting like him and everything. He killed himself by overdosing, and I know it could have been a lie (over the internet), but what happened next freaked me out. A couple months or so after he died, my old account logs in. Says he is my ex. After I go to bed, I sit up and that old feeling of being watched is back.

I lay there and I hear my lock on my door (It's on the inside of my door) clink against the wood like it was unlocked. I don't get up, figuring it was a trick of the imagination, and I fall asleep. The next morning I wake up, the door is unlocked and my cats come in. At first I'm all "Oh, must have been the cats" but I decide to test the lock. I lock it back up, shake my door, jiggle it, pull against it. Not once did it come undone. The only way I found it would come undone was if I lifted it up and unlocked it myself.

Safe to say those times I was freaked out.

    Edit: Whoa, long post. Facepalm

I think it's Sleep Paralysis as well. I suffer from it, and I wake up and have the feeling of my soul being pulled from my body, but I can't move, can't yell, and can only look around. At first I thought it was something paranormal, too, but then I went to a doctor and yeah... sleep paralysis. Shifty It's not fun, and it scares me to death everytime, that's for sure.

My mom (the innocent, catholic girl) wanted to be rebellious when she was a teen so she dated a satanist. She woke up one day and everything was floating around and a demon thing was at the end of her bed, in a flaming torpedo. One of the books hit her in the head.

The rug carpet was burned where it stood, and the gash was there the next morning.

    ---

Apparently my room used to have a heavy-breathing monster thing under the bed (comical, I know!) and (my sisters used to have this room so I don't know anything about this) and so mom spread holy water around the room and my sister's never complained.
    --

Last month, my sister was in her bed when a lady (my sister describeed her perfectly because she was very much awake and my sister was texting her boyfriend) and she walked right next to my Sister, and then dissapeared.

    LOL!

I'm a firm believer in the paranormal, particularly ghosts.

When I was four, I had to have my tonsils taken out. I've always hated hospitals. They make me terribly anxious, even now, and as a really little kid I was terrified. 'Cept that time I had my tonsils out, because my grandfather spoke to me.

But my grandfather died before I was ever even born.

I also remember my mother talking about how my grandmother always thought she saw and heard my grandfather, even after he died.

I could have sworn just recently I was experiencing the presence of a spirit. I think the first sign was the day my lights "mysteriously" turned off after I had turned them on. Some days later I thought that I was experiencing a case of Tourette's Syndrome and had severe tics. I thought I had it, honestly, and I started crying that night. Turns out I didn't have it. I don't know what to think about it. Then my sister said that her leg started twitching while she was trying to sleep and she couldn't. I kept joking and saying that spirit was possessing me but I don't know if it's much of a joke anymore.

One day while my sister and I were in my room, we started to hear a phone ringing. It was the sound a phone made after a number has been dialed. It was loud and clear and my sister and me got quiet because we both heard it. I thought it was my phone for a second but my phone was in my purse on my bed. My sister said her phone was downstairs and our house phones were no where near plus they didn't even work. Nobody picked up, whoever was being called but it scared the shit out of us both.

Another day my sister told me that she was in my room one day and she started to hear a sound that sounded like something was scratching the wall under my bed. She thought it was my brother but she called him and he was downstairs. I was downstairs also and no one else was in my room. She said she got freaked out and left.

As of now, nothing has happened and now I think of what it could be. I joke and say that it was spirits I unleashed from the two vases I accidentally broke then I would say it's my aunt who recently past away who was also very close to my dad.

One time me and my sister were sitting in the room downstairs in the basement just hanging out and both of my cats at the exact same time looked up the stairs with huge eyes, and their bodies were like statues. They would not move at all, and it freaked us out.

Another time I was outside and I saw this ghostly, grayish white blob out on the deck and nobody else could see it but me, and my brother was teasing me about it, and I was freaked out so I slept in his room. The same night, I saw it in his room.

This experience isn't about me, but it's about my grandma. She had a Ouija board and she was afraid of it after so many years or weird things happening so she took it and threw it out in a lake behind her house. She came back, and the Ouija board was sitting on her bed. It sounds hard to believe, but it happened.

Physic bonds? My sister is a little bit physic.

When she was three, she predicted that our great grandma was going to die, but she said it when she was sleep walking.

The second time she predicted our great grandpa was going to die by sleep walking also. She said while she was walking "there is a word on the floor I don;t understand" and my stop mom asked her what it said and she responded "goodbye".

So that's what I know about that stuff.

I had a dream where I was floating on a purple ocean, and it was quite a bizarre, but peaceful dream, where everything was purple, except for a snow castle, which in the dream saved my life.

I always hated purple since then, and the strange part is how I loved snow and ice before the dream. Finally, my left arm and hand shakes and cannot stay stable now.

Either that or I have had too much sugar...

But I believe in psychic abilites, and to be honest, I have practiced telekinesis. However, the best I could conjure up was a slight shake of water, or a round pencil.

When I was really little we lived on a really old farm and the neighbors son refused to go to the barn at night because he said he'd seen stuff down there, and when my brother was maybe 3 or 4 he was in his room playing and we heard him screaming bloody murder and ran in and he said that someone with a rotting face was at his window. Then when I was 11 my mom and I were in the house alone and she was in the bathroom and I was in the dining room and I heard her say,"Gail, come here a second." so I went to find out what she wanted and we ran into each other half way both saying,"What do you need?" We had both heard each other calling one another to come here, but neither of us had said anything. We had a dog who refused to go into the back of the house...to make him stay you'd have to leash him in there and he'd whine and growl the whole time, and also our toys when we were little would go off.

I didn't see anything until I turned 16, and one day my friend was spending the night and one morning we woke up to what sounded like an explosion and we walked into the living room with the rest of my family and our glass top computer desk had exploded (the glass part) into tiny little pieces and they felt charged with electricity. That's when things started happenening...I started seeing dark shadows, I would feel cold spots, and at night in bed when I closed my eyes I would feel like someone was staring at me, and one time my mom was filming me playing with our dog and when we played the video we saw a black shadow behind me and heard a low growl that wasn't the dog.

When I moved out things stopped until late in my pregnancy and it'd be small things...I'd feel watched, or at night we'd close all the door and wake up to the closets and bathroom door opened, and a couple of times we heard the doorknob to the front door rattle, but when we snuck up to look through the peephole no one was there.

I've moved into another apartment recently and things are quiet, but it makes me wonder if things will start again.
