The best weed doesn't grow in America. Same reason we aren't allowed to get prescriptions from Canada.

I haven't done any research regarding this, so correct me if you must, but it seems to me the American climate isn't all that different to the European [Dutch to be more specific] climate, in most parts. I'm not talking about Hawaii.

Weed isn't phyiscally addictive. You can develop a psychological addiction like you could to the internet or pizza...you know what I mean. I know it sounds stupid. But it is impossible to develop a physical dependency like you could for cigarettes or alcohol or other drugs like cocaine or other opiates.

- I don't think that it will matter in any way, shape, or form matter if the legalize it or not. People who want to do it are going to do it, and if they legalize it, more people will start, and teens will become addicted quicker. Its like drinking, people drink anyways, but once you hit 21, then you can go all out without getting caught. So either way it doesn't matter...
Completely agreed. Illegalize some, illegalize them all.

- Why fucking not?
I mean, alcohol fucks you up and can break apart families, or even kill you. It's also a harm to other people around you, but who cares, right? It's just alcohol.
When peope get durnk, they react a different way. Some are almost completely normal, others go insane and really have no control over the way they act. But that doesn't matter, right? Anyone over the age of 18 (or 21, depending on where you live) can use alcohol, even if you act like a 5 year old while using it.
And smoking! It's killing our environment, and the people in it. Cigarettes are also a harm to other people around us. It kills so many fucking people a day, but who cares? Oh, no one cares. People keep doing it, because it's addicting.
Those are two things that completely screw up your life. None of them are sfe, even if you are responsible. You can't stop yourself from doing something stupid when you're drunk, and you can't stop secondhand smoke when you smoke cigs.
So, why not legalize drugs? Not only pot, but all drugs! If alcohol and cigarettes are legal, and they fuck up your life, why not legalize everything?
Because drugs are a harm to others, as well? So are cigs and alcohol.
Because you can get addicted more easily? You can on cigs and alcohol, too.
Because they're illegal for a reason?
Well, in my opinion, alcohol and ciggs should be illegal too.
This way the world works now is so damn stupid. Why legalize two life-ruiners and not them all?
Whatever. Go ahead, legalize pot. And while you're at it, legalize everything else too.
In reality, it makes no difference.
Why 21?

- I'm for the legalization of marijuana. I've been for the legalization since before I even tried it [which I have done once]. I don't think the health effects are serious enough for this drug to be illegal, although I think it should be controlled in much the same way alcohol is. I think it should be legal to smoke it at 21 and you should not be able to drive while under the influence.
Thoughts?
And look whose fault it is.

- Legalization of maijuana can't be done; in my opinion. I'm not leaning towards the addiction and health side, I'm leaning towards the federal government and taxation side. You can't track marijuana, and if you can, tax the hell out of it. This fucking country needs money right now. We've never been in this much debt for such a long time.
