My mom and I are best friends. I can talk to her about anything and she'll be there for me, and she can talk to me about anything, too. We're as close as two human beings can get without being physically joined together. My mom understands everything I say to her and doesn't yell at me if I make a mistake. All in all I live with my best friend and it's great.

I am close with my dad, too, though maybe not as close. I can still came to him with everything and I know he'll have my back.

It's extremely awkward talking to my dad, I can't talk to him about anything.

My mom and I get along sometimes but then others we're too frustrated with each other to even think about talking. I'll talk to her about minor stuff (i.e. TV shows, music, movies) but nothing deep. Actually we have bonding time Mondays at 10 (during Teen Wolf, I introduced her to it) but any other time it's like I'm non-existent to her. She's super stubborn and thinks she knows everything about my life and what's better for me without actually asking me.

I can have conversations with my parents. Talks with my dad tend to be more personal but overall I can't really talk to my parents about anything deep.

I try not to talk to my parents unless absolutely necessary. There is no communicating with my mother about anything at all. She just can't get through a sentence without screaming. I feel like I can only manage very simple yes or no questions with her most of the time, but even that carries the risk of her exploding without warning. It's better to just leave her be.

My dad's okay to talk to if I can actually get a hold of him. He's either always travelling for work or my siblings have gotten to him first. It gets really annoying because he'll send me texts about really stupid shit now and then but won't ever respond when I genuinely need to talk with him about something important. It's better than nothing though and when compared to my mother, I'll take what little interaction I can get out of him really.

I talk to Grandma instead. She's really the one who wants to be involved in my life and calls just to see how things are going. I mean, she's a gossip and can't keep a secret so sometimes I have to be really careful with what I do say to her, but all in all, I spent more time under her care growing up so that's probably why I find it easier to have a conversation with her.

I only started talking to mom when I was about 15 or something like that. I guess mom never really knew how to deal with children, so were never close. But these last years things changed completely, since we can talk from adult to adult, if that makes sense. She's now like a friend and we can talk about nearly anything (I don't really tell her everything about my life, actually, there are a lot of things she doesn't really need to know) and we get along pretty well as long as we're not together all that time. Spending more than a weekend together is out of question or we'll start getting on each other's hair.

I'm a daddy's girl all the way, my relationship with dad is really great. Growing up I always missed him since he was always traveling, and rarely home. Now he settled down and we live in the same town, so we never go a day without talking, whether I drop by his place or we call each other at least for a few minutes to know what's up. And as long as I don't talk to him about my sexual life we're good.
