    I'm Agnostic.

    I just don't know.

and you can never be sure until you die, right?

I believe we'll be reincarnated into another animal or plant.

    What do you all think?

    I used to be Agnostic.
    I'm a LaVeyan Satanist now.
There really isn't much difference, but it sounds cooler. 8)

I'm Agnostic, and for the most part I'm content with it. I was Christian up until maybe 4 or 5 years ago, and then I just kind of lost it.

Sometimes I wish I could just decide, go one way or another and be sure about it. But I can't comfortably be an Atheist, and Christianity wasn't working for me.

I agree, I don't think there is a way to be sure until we die. I don't know if there is a God and I don't think I'm going to find out. I'd love to see some cold, hard proof either way, but I don't think it's out there.

I'm Agnostic. I find it hard to think that this universe or multiverse was an accident, that someone who's undoubtedly the biggest nerd ever planned it out from the word, BOOM. But I'm pretty sure that an all-loving higher being wouldn't let his or her people suffer the way we do so whoever's "up there" is probably, in my opinion, an indifferent bastard.
But that's just the way that I see it and I'm in a bad mood today.

    I love your logic!

    I really do!

No person would make a world so they wouldn't be alone.. just to go and ruin their lives... That's messed up!

I used to believe in Glitter's logic sooo much.
My parents and friends thought I was freak when they heard I was agnostic.
How I had to explain it to them!

I found God though, but your logic still stays with me.
    I'm not entirely christian.
And I don't think I want to be.

Agnostic is not really knowing what you believe in, is that right?
    That's what I was told.

^ That's right. My english teacher said that even if you say that you're an athiest, you really are agnostic, because we're always going to debate with ourselves over whether god or any other kind of spiritual power is real.

I may be agnostic. I do believe in a god but I don't have an organized religion. However I do have many strong moral beliefs and do believe in certain ideals of various religions.

If you definitely believe in God then you're probably not Agnostic, just btdubs.

I haven't asked myself whether God exists before after I decided for myself I didn't believe in God but then, that's just me.

Agnostic is basically where you don't deny the existence of god. But, you refuse to put your faith into something that can't be proven to exist..

    I believe there is something.
    Just not a person
Well, it could be anything, but I definatly don't believe that, like, every word in the Bible is the truth.

Actually, a decent bit of the stuff in the Bible isn't historically accurate, or it's misunderstood, or twisted around. Some of it is to emphasize a point, to parallel other passages or concepts, or voice the opinion of the writer, and some things are straight up myths.

I go to catholic school (go figure) and the theology course this year is the Gospels, so that's where all of that ^ came from. I just thought it was kind of interesting.

I just call myself Agnostic because I have yet to fine a word that really defines my beliefs. I believe there is some form of a higher power- be it God or multiple gods or a giant mermaid with lazer eyes- but I do not believe in organized religion. I don't agree with the words in the bibles entirely, I don't feel like I have to go to church every Sunday in order to get into heaven, and I never liked some of the extremist catholics. Uhm, yeah. I believe in science mostly, but there is of course a possiblity of that being false.

Basically I think the whole science vs religion debate is like two guys fighting over the same girl. So yeah I lean more towards science than religion though.

Yeah, so, my beliefs even confuse me XD

A giant mermaid with lazer eyes?! Dude...that'd be pretty awesome. :D

If I really couldn't decide whether there's a God or not I'd be agnostic obviously but, my mom's agnostic...I think. Just thought I should share that. :file:

    I so believe that.
I think the 'two guys' need to worry about is what the 'girl' wants.
It's our choice to believe in what we want. Even if it's not incredibly right.

    Right?

I'm open to the idea that there is something out there...Like most kids I was apart of the religion my parents followed. But then I thought about it and decided my own beliefs.

I more of a 'have to see it to believe it' person....I can't just follow something from a book.
