There's this girl at school who is convinced she's a vampire.
    It's really stupid and annoying.
She goes around feeling up peoples necks and stuff omgno:
And then she got into major trouble for beating up this other girl and making death-threats, but she got out of trouble because she's brainwashed herself into believing she's a vampire.

It wouldn't matter if you got aids if you were a vampire because their immortal...least that's what I would figure.

Could you try and speak properly? I don't like this sort of thing on my thread... and I'm not entirely sure whether you could get AIDS.

For what it's worth, I agree with Bleed the Dream. As far as immortality, it is only assumed that of all vampiristic qualities, this is one of them. AIDS wouldn't seem to have too bad an effect on a vampire then, would it?

However, seeing as -in my own opinion- vampires do not actually exist in the way that people portray them (with the whole hollywood horrorshow, neck-biting stereotype), it wouldn't matter.

And to McLovin!, how are you so sure you'd be able to stay young forever?

I'm a little hesitant on the idea of Vampirism. It's my own opinion, though. Make of it what you wish.

That's actually a good point though.
If eating meat is allowed then why is drinking blood so frowned upon.

That's all they drink? Wow. I can't believe that, they'd be seriously ill surviving only on blood. You can't get everything your body needs through it.

I think it's a bit gross myself, but hey, as long as you're not taking blood against anyone's will then I'm willing to let people do it.
    It's your choice.
But I think it's incredibly stupid to only drink that, since it will no doubt damage you're health.

I can't understand the fascination myself; I don't like the taste of blood :shifty

p.s. please don't type in chat speak, it's against the rules.

Use proper grammar/spelling please. No chatspeak. It's against rules.

People have been eating meat for thousands of years for survival, but they haven't drank blood for thousands of years. At least not to my knowledge. Drinking blood and eating meat is completely different.

Most people would agree that drinking others' blood is inhumane or whatever. It doesn't help that there's a better chance of you getting a STD if you drink someone's blood that has one.

Not that if vampires existed that they wouldn't be immune to any STD. It's just...kind of normal (I use that very loosely) not to drink others' blood. Or snot, anything like that really.

Not that I don't believe in vampires, but if they exist it's a thing they have to do to survive. Not a choice.

But for arguments sake, why does doing it for thousands of years make is okay?

I think there are so many stories about vampires that it has to be based on something more than that blood drinking count dracule or whatever. I mean the stories are huge!

I believe that there are vampires, but I wouldn't like to become one.

You do know that Count Dracula was real right?

But instead of being a vampire

he was a king who liked to kill people

so him doing that made people say he was 'blood-thirsty'

therefore Count Dracula the vampire was born.
