Good book. Nothing much to me that was a flaw. Though it really shocked me how this is for young adults and there's almost some how a revealed sex scene it in - or was it revealed to much !?

Other than that, It's an okay book. It did however keep me to the edge of the point where I couldn't stop reading and wanting more.

The only thing that shocked me. She had almost, what seemed to me, sex with her mentor - seven years older than she is. I don't know - it's me. But you know, it was sexy.

Good heavens my teacher did not find that scene when he was skimming through my book.

Anyone else thought it was okay? or good? or great?
Any crits? cons? What about favorite parts?

Haha, the almost sex scene was good. There were a few flaws, and it was kind of boring in the beginning, but it certainly picked up. ;)
Did you read the sequel, Frostbite? I'd say it's a lot better. And shocking too.

I just brought that book yesterday. I think I might start reading it tonight. I finished all the other books I brought already. haha.

I'm broke right now... But when I get more money then I'll buy the new book! For the longest time I thought that that was going to be the only book! It seemed like a one-volume type of book to me...

I knew it had a sequel but i didn't know when it was comeing out. And the almost-sex scene was all you like? Although it was pretty juicey....but still....there was more to it than that....but juicey...but NO, damn I'm doing it again... Okay, well I think I'll just go buy the sequel now...

I love the book and really want the sequel! My favorite parts were at the dance when Mason got Jesse and Ralf to confess about why the started the rumor and when Demetri threatened Jesse the first time. And now I have to see if my mom'll take me to get Frostbite.

The book was great ^^, It definitely was not what I expected. I expected the characters to be more Goth and stuff, but they weren't... They were like the popular girls that partied and got into trouble. I really liked the guy Lissa hooked up with - can't remember the name. I read it a while ago. I loved the way he was a fire freak and nobody wanted to know him and he was just an outcast. It contrasted with the popularity. I also love the small things, like Rose hating anything to do with roses. I reserved Frostbite at the library (I never buy books, unless they're super cheap) and I can't wait to get it!

I want to read this now, I know where to come when I need recommendations for a book!

I recently finished reading it.

I thought it was a good book. It was kind of boring in the beginning but it picked up. Dimitri and Rose would make a cute couple... Depesite the age different. :]

I started reading this book last week, but the beginning is kind of boring so I kept forgetting to pick it up and read it, but it's getting to get very interesting and I can't wait to finish it haha.
And Oh my God I have to read the sequel!

I just finished Shadow Kiss and it was amazing! Richelle Mead's done it again. This series is just so great!
