I can't believe what Dimirti did in Spirit Bound, he loves Rose and yet he told her "Love fades. Mine has..." I was like OMG... then he protected her when the guardians came to take her away. He soooooooooooooo still loves her like crazy hehe

to RUSSIA for him , broke her enemy out of jail then
had Lissa stake him all because she loved him .

I'm not sure if I'm going to read the spin-off, because spin-offs are notorious for sucking majorly... but since this one is smaller characters and a new plot, it does have a chance.

After hearing this, though, I'm not sure I'll read it. Richelle released in an interview that one of the characters featured in the spin-off will be Sydney. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but that really doesn't sound very entertaining to me. From what I gathered from Blood Promise, Alchemists seemed to be very routine, almost boring people. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully other characters will be thrown into the mix to make it more interesting, like Abe!

What are your thoughts? I'm not very excited.

I just finished reading Last Sacrifice, it is so great! I can't believe that the series is over! :( There are so many twist and turns I love this book!

I just finished Last Sacrifice, and let me tell you. I've been following this series since the first book came out in 2007. And the way the series ended, I was content. Of course, I was pissed it ended, and I cried. A lot. I still want to cry now thinking about it, haha. But damn, was it good.
And I just found out that the rights have been sold for a movie and they're looking for a production company to pick it up! (: I'm so excited. But I hope to God they don't turn it into a disaster. It happened with Twilight. I hope it doesn't happen with my FAVORITE series.
If you guys are excited as I am, and like picking your own cast, agree with me on this one. Marie Avgeropoulos would be PERFECT for Rose. She's sexy, and she's got every characteristic that Rose has. (I pictured Rose with brown eyes, and I actually think that might be how she was described, so color contacts could help that.)
But she's perfect, in my opinion.

To be honest I didn't like it very much, partly because of how it all ended, I mean come on, it was cliche and I knew Richelle was going to go that way, and it made me angry. I'm just pretending I never read the book so I can make my own ending. Ahaha

I'm reread the whole series over again. vampire academy = love. haha

and i was very happy with the ending since i love Dimitri

I'm probably going to read the spin-off series, since it's...well, just because it's the VA spin-off. I'm also totally excited for the movie. :-) Hopefully they don't completely mess it up...I would be very very sad. :-(

I totally agree. when i started reading Last Sacrifice i told my boyfriend if Rose died or she didn't end up with Dimitri i was going to throw my book out the window haha

I read all the books in about four days. I love them all. And as someone stated earlier, if Rose didn't end up with Dimitri or someone important died, I would have thrown the book out my window was well.
There's a review on the back of the books I have that says, "The obvious heir to the Twilight throne..." from The Daily Beast.
Twilight has nothing on this series. I think so at least.

But from the first book, I was in love with Dimitri. Tall, dark and handsome with that Russian accent? Yes please. I cried when he became Strigoi, like legit tears streaming down my face that I had to put the book down for quite some time.

I was just happy that Last Sacrifice ended the way it did, aside from Rose dying again and all. But the fact that she ended up with Dimitri, I cried tears of joy on that part.

Richelle Mead also came out with the spin-off series a few days ago, I believe. I just finished reading Bloodlines and fell in love with it. Then again, it has Adrian in it, who can not love Adrian. He's hilarious.

But I love this book series so damn much. It's just so captivating, intriguing and quite an original twist to vampires, from my experience.

Even tho I'm team Dimitri. i do love Adrian, i just never liked him with Rose. I loved Bloodlines. XD

Omg, I'm totally fan-girling over Bloodlines because Adrian is even more amazing in it and plus, him and Sydney would be an adorable couple together.

I just finished Bloodlines. It was f*cking fantastic. Sydney and Adrian kick ass. Especially my Adrian. <3

I'm pissed that Dimitri is back. Just ugh ugh ugh!

The ending pissed me off kind of because everyone had a happy ending and then Adrian was left there alone and Rose was basically like 'Fuck you, Dimitri!' and while I love Dimitri, I think it was unfair for Adrian to be completely screwed in the end.
