A lot of kids have imaginary friends when they're young. Some more normal than others...
Did you ever have any imaginary friend?
    Was it human? Or...not?
What do you remember about him/her/it?

I don't remember much about mine, except that it was a dog. It didn't stay around long, either.

You know what, I never did have an imaginary friend. In a way, I kind of felt left out because of that.

But I always gave my stuffed animals life-like qualities. There for a little bit, i'd talk to them and we'd play boardgames or something weird like that. It was a little phase I went through. haha.

I used to have imaginary friends. My mom actually thought there was something wrong with me cause I'd talk to myself and stuff and cause I was an only child and stuff... She even asked my grandma about it. :lmfao

I had two "human" imaginary friends, and one dog. It was Gina, Judgie (?) and the dog was Puddles. They came everywhere with me. I used to play baseball in the backyard with my grandpa and I would have each of them get up at bat to make things more interesting x)
I don't really remember them, but my mother is always bringing it up and laughing at me.

edit; Oh, and they were from planet Paprika xD

I used to have imaginary Pokemon.

And once I came out of my room and was talking to my mum when my door closed randomly.

And I was just like "yeah, that was just Charmeleon. :file:"

... I dunno what it actually was, but it was very convenient. o__o

A lot of my young life revolved around having imaginary... everything, so I can't really be bothered explaining them all. :tehe:

I don't really think I had an imaginary friend, as in someone I talked to physically, but I did often live in my head as a child...in fact, actually, I still live in my head, which is why I have a warped sense of reality and can't remember if something actually happened, or happened in my head >_>

I never had an imaginary friend because I felt I wasn't good enough for one.

I was even made fun of for not having one.
    My childhood wasn't exactly perfect.

    Sad

My imaginary friend lived in my room. His name was George and he feared the outside world. I remember talking to him, while my parents were screaming at each other. I could have been like that girl from the movie Hide-And-Seek!

    Creepy.

I had one. I don't remember much about it except that my real Dad used to get annoyed whenever I mentioned her.

I DEFINITELY HAVE IMAGINARY FRIENDS. In Love
I have a black crocodile friend named Bob, who drinks coffee and has no idea what a hickey is. :XD Also Nutcase the monkey, Dumbo the lion, Sleepy the giraffe, Spodnik the bat, Big Ears the elephant, Joker the shark, and Sammie the hawk. I also make them into comics. Not imaginary anymore. :XD

I had The Kid who was three inches tall had brown curly hair and blue eyes. He was like my evil shoulder angel. I blame him for my awesome lying skills, hehehe.

Then I had Bill who was really tall and had a grey beard down to his feet. He didn't have pupils though, which sorta freaked me out cause his eyes were all white. He was really lanky and stick-thin. He was really nice and funny too. He was always yelling at The Kid for being bad.

I also had someone else, it was an animal, but I can't remember who (or what) it was. I know it was a girl and that she was white and had brown eyes but thats all I can remember. My little sisters were always asking what The Kid, Bill, and the white animal thing were doing.

They left when I was 7. But the freaky thing, my youngest sis was only two then and she didn't know about The Kid or the others, but she had an imaginary friend called The Kid too up unitl about 3 years ago. weird...

I read a psychology paper the other day about adults with imaginary friends, the conclusion it came to was a coping mechanism for severe loneliness but I think it might also be the same as for children, developing creativity????

Whatever the reason, it was pretty interesting research

I had like... an imaginary class.
Like, I was the teacher and there was a room full of kids with me.
I could never see them, though. I just sort of pretended they were there.

Oh, I did that, too! But sometimes I would set up my teddies and my dolls to be the class. I did lessons on my little white board and everything.
But I never really did have an imaginary friend. I remember trying it once, like I tried to conjure up this little imaginary friend, but I always knew that there really wasn't anyone there and I was just talking to myself. Cry

I did think of my guardian angel as a friend, though. I would talk to her when I was sad, and stuff like that. It was kind of crazy, but very comforting.
