I was so happy when I got my period, don't ask me why.
After six months or so I knew it for what it really was - a curse .___.
    Xd you were happy?
To me it was a totaly curse. One day it was there and I never got rid of it anymore ^^. The funny thing is..the first 6 months I got it regularly..then it started to screw up and along with that the awful pain came.

I was relieved when I got mine, I thought 'oh here we go, I'll get them around this time every month' totally wrong!
They went for two months then came back I was really confused!
They were okay for the first couple of years, uncomfortable, yes but not painful.
Then last year was the pain, I was keeling over, I couldn't stand up and was throwing up the first day every other month. luckly, now things have settled and even though I get really bad pains, they're not that bad.

Don't worry about skipping, it'll all work out, as you grow up and have them more, they'll become more regular and you'll be able to plan out when your going to be on. but you won't probably start becoming regular untill your in your late teens.
Hmm I don't know if that goes for nearly everyone. I was in my late (really late) twenties before I started with the pill and it was not regular, hell no. I envied all people who were lucky enough to get their period like you get your phone bill, ont he same date.
I wasn't sure about saying that lol coz everyones different, I can tell roughly what week I'm on. yet my mum, as you say about being on the same date, she can tell what date and what time of day she'll roughly come on.
I haven't skipped in about two years but they change all the time I'm roughly on for about 5 days over all but the dates are all over the place. Its really annoying!
Sometimes I'll be early, sometimes I'll be late. its fucked up -gets grouchy- I get like that too, in the week before I'll get cramps and really hormonal! I snap at everyone all the time, then when they ask if its 'that time of the month' I'm like NO GO AWAY! they leave me after that though lol.

My period has been regular for about like, 90 percent of the time. When I first started though, it was all weird. Like, I started on my birthday about two years ago, which was at the end of July. After that I didn't get my period again until around November, then it was regular. It's been regular pretty much ever since then, except every now and then it'll be a few days late/early.

    I can't get my period.
    I'm too small or something.
That sucks, because I think that I'm the only girl in the world who actually wants one.
    Haha >.<

Maybe you're just not old enough yet? Girls start at different ages. I know my sister didn't start hers till she was 16.

I highly doubt your too small. You would have to be like starving in Africa skinny to not get it. You are probably too young. My mother didn't get hers until she was 15 I believe, while I got mine at the age of 11. It just depends on your body. Trust me once you get your period you will loathe it until you hit menopause.

You don't want to get it. I remember prancing around while everyone complained about having cramps and I'd be like I haven't gotten mine yet!

I got mine last year during class. My friend just hugs me from behind and whispers into my ear, "Your a woman."

    I cried.

Perhaps it was because I ruined my favorite pair of jeans.

I didn't use to have bad cramps either, but then when I turned 18 that changed. And my mum was like 'oh yeah, the girls in our family tend to get worse cramps after they turn 18' and I was like 'thanks for the warning mum!!'

Now I need strong painkillers, and I can sometimes not even get out of bed. Or I simply throw up because of the pain.
    It sucks!

=) Don't worry, you will get yours. I remember my cousin didn't get hers till she was 16.

Oh god cramps. Luckily I am over with that. During the first half a year it was awesome.. no pain, nothing. But then it got worse each year. In the end I had to take 7 or more painkillers a day to get rid of them and was at the edge of collapsing.
I so hated when I got my period on an unregular base because you could never really plan holidays.

I used to faint because mine was so heavy and I was anemic even though I ate high Iron food, so now I'm on the pill to lighten my periods, I haven't had one in over a year because of the way I take the pill.

On FrankieMonster you get cramps because your womb contracts to get rid of the lining. It's the only way...:( I hate cramps as well.

So you don't get your period at all? Or did you mean the cramps?

Yess I was always wondering why the cramps (;) even though I know the technical stuff) but I thought bleeding was enough.

i don't get it at all, I get the cramps still, but no bleeding, I still PMS and all.

If period contractions are sore what will we be like having babies?

Did your doc said that this was normal? No period but cramps and shit??

Mhm I was wondering that too. Because the period cramps are the labour pains in the beginning.. I can't believe it gets worse.

^^ Even if it sounds bad.. I can't stay away from boys, they are too adictive. You can't live with them but neither without them. Vicious circle.
