    I agree!
& the switchover Quizilla did lost them tons of users.
    Includin' me.
    I love Mibba much better.

Yes, I know! Most of them were immature & could NOT write.
I hated seeing stories with improper grammer & just arg! Bothered the hell outa me.
But Mibba is like my best friend now.

I recently moves from quizilla to mibba.
Still in the process of moving my stories actually.
I was a part of it for 2 years, I actually had a fairly new one shot site too.
But the changes were too much for me.

i agree with all she says ;] like seriously, changing QZ is the worst decision ever; they lost tons of user. and thats the reason i moved to Mibba. [also the i-hate-seeing-improper-grammars, its just... urgh]

tons of '7 Minutes in Heaven's, 'will i date you's, blah blah blah.

in QZ, i dont have too many people to talk to. in Mibba... dont ask, i got loads of friend :]

exactly. quizilla just kind of...went downhill. I hardly got any feedback and a lot of the stuff was silly junk.
AND I'm a grammar freak. Bad grammar is my pet peeve. I got waaaay frustrated on quizilla!

I agree with all of you. I just recently moved over here from Quizilla because I saw one of the users that I frequently read stuff from moved over here and so I came to check it out. SO much better than the majority of the stuff on Quizilla.

I hardly ever got feedback there too, which bugs me. I think people just don't like taking the time out to write a simple statement saying whether you liked or didn't like the story. I love comments, regardless of what they say. Because at least the person took a little time out of their day to let you know what they thought about your work. Everytime I see that I have a new comment, it makes me giddy. *shrug* I just never got that when I was on Quizilla or many other fan fiction sites either.

I loved Quizilla because of the set up.

Then they went and changed it I found this because someone linked it.

I'm a seven year Quizillian vet.
I miss the blue and white days when it was like, one person running the whole site.
Now it's so horrible with the "stories" and "quizzes". So sad.

    I miss the old quizilla.
I've been officially on there with an account and everything for almost 4 years but I lurked everything for a good couple years before that.

I miss how it used to be.

But now that all the changes have happened, I found that I like it here better.

Quizilla was my first home and where I got started but I like how mibba is more organized where it's easier to find stories and the homepages aren't chaos.

I only started using Quizilla earlier in the year, but it was definitely
my first home as far as writing goes. But I transferred [along with
most of the people I knew] over here once they relaunched the new site.

And I agree with those of you who dislike the new version.
I think it's much too slow [it's caused my internet to shut down more than once,
along with freezing up my internet as well] and their new rules/guidelines
are just ridiculous. Just like most of you, I'd like to see them bring the old quizilla back.

Quizilla was the place I used to spend all of my time. I was on there for about five years, but then this whole alliance with the-n came in. however much i love the-n and some of their shows, i hate what joining up with them did to the site. i used to have so much fun and stuff. now its just difficult to do the simpliest of tasks.

plus, as you all have said, this site is much more mature. all i ever saw was "seven minutes in heaven" where everybody was so cliche. here, everybody seems to be more originial with new ideas. on there, also, people stole other people's story lines a lot. on mibba, others respect other writer's ideas and story lines.

I think the fact that they didn't ask any of the users what they wanted and just changed it contributed to their mass loss in members.

thats so true. there was no real way to actually communicate with each other unless you wanted to message someone. and the message system got messed up every other day, so that was a bust. unless you trusted the person to give out your email or MSN or something, there was basically no way to talk to them.

I used to know so many people on Quizilla. Up until those last three years I did anyway.
Now I'm here on Mibba and I don't know anyone. :|
The message system was never too bad for me, the only problems I had were when the whole site was screwed up (and by that I mean before they had the almost hourly multiple server crashes.)

I had an account on Quizilla and I was pretty active on it, until the changes started taking place.
Now I'm new here too, but I'm likin' it a helluva lot better, lol

Ugh, it didn't use to be that way. Once everyone started becoming addicted to online quizzes that's when it all started. The whole flooding of the site with often unused accounts and then the hate messages that began. Pitiful. I think the forums made it worse but it has died down over the last couple years; after several users got booted off and then the immature teenies had no one to pick fights with.

I was on Quizilla! for four years. It used to be such a great site for writing and truly developing your talent. However, it's completely 'gone to the dogs'. I think everyone on here who's been to Quizilla can agree that there is such a lack of talent and creative energy. I still have my account, I check it everyday however have stopped posting. I found popularity was very unfairly distributed. People were not drawn to talent, but rather mainstream, pop-culture. I'm still finding it hard here on mibba to get readers and the attention of others, but no doubt I am so much more supportive of Mibba.
Honestly though, I do wish there was the option for creating quizzes on this site. HerFamousLastWords, I know you said you were a bit of a HP junkie. Well I adored a well-constructed HP quiz, or any other interesting quiz for that matter. I would go crazy for something like that on here!!
