    Quzilla. Hm.
I use to really love that site. Although, I've tried to re-read stories that I read that were posted on there and just couldn't understand any of it. The quality of the stories is kind of terrible.
And the quizzes are terribly annoying. It's the same thing every time.
Nevertheless, I owe a lot to Quzilla because without it I wouldn't know what fanfiction is.

Same here. If it weren't for Quizilla, I would never have written my first horrible fanfiction, and ultimately improved my writing ability after seven years. I owe a lot to the pre-MTV Quizilla.

    Same.
I read my first fanfic on Quizilla when I was in 8th grade. I never got to finish it though because the author left. :(

I joined Mibba because a person who's stories I was reading switched over here. When the story ended, I didn't really come on here again, but then Quizilla spazzed out on me. I can't post ANYTHING on it anymore for some unknown reason, so I re-posted my story on here and I absolutely love it. There are a few things I don't like, like how they're really strict with banners and character descriptions, but other than that it's awesome.

Oh, and by the way, has that happened to anyone else? Not being able to post stuff on Quizilla abruptly, I mean.

I still use Quizilla, but only because I still have friends on there that don't want me to leave. Most of my friends from Quizilla moved over here because someone was being immature about stuff, and they were sick of it, so a lot of us switched over. I post my stories on both sites, but I personally find Mibba easier to use. It's more like the old 'Zilla before they switched to the "better" new one.

    Oh how I miss Quizilla.
I used to check that site everyday, and then one day I went on and it changed.
Such a tragic day for me =/

QuizillaQuizilla hmm.... I miss some of the people on this site, but this site was a tad annoying. It took me about fifteen minutes to upload a picture, creating stories was confusing. After being on Mibba for a month or so, I learned to love it, and it's sooo much better than Quizilla

Quizilla... I miss the very first quizilla. =] I was first there, I think, about five or six years ago? I started off with a stupid fanfic though, and deleted it. It's really hard for me to write fanfics now though. But I'm totally grateful for quizilla because my writing actually got better. I visit only because a one of my favorite authors is still writing. Anyone remember the famous of youandmeboth?

I use to go on Quizilla all the time about two years ago. But there were tons of immature teens on there bashing people just for the fun of it. That and the site change is why I left. Plus it was becoming very ill-literate. I only go there every once in a while to check up on some of my friends or if I'm bored.

I used to love it, but after a while I couldn't find anyone on there truely serious about writing. If they were, then they were (how do I put this politely?) not so good.

In the end, the site changed to the point were I couldn't post at all, so I simply stopped. I do miss the old Quizilla and wish I could go back to start over and show them some good literature.

I remember youandmeboth! It still peeves me that she didn't at least give her story an ending on another website, but I could understand her decision to leave. Plagiarism was the big problem with Quizilla. A lot of the good stories were copied, and sold under a different name; and the amount of haters on that site in the later years, man.

I had a Quizilla account once, it was years ago, though.
But I didn't like it there at all; big chaos with spelling, grammar and overall with everything, and for a person whose English is their foreign language it's hard to read all the chat speak and incorrect spelling/grammar and actually understand it.
I haven't returned to that site for a while now and I'm not planning to either. :file:

I used to have a quizilla account for quite sometime, but then it got taken over by click, crappy stories, and spam.
Edit: And the whole stereotyping thing was a huge deal there, the stories were mostly horribly written and what have you, not to mention the stories weren't creative at all.

edit: Plus all the hatred on there was overbearing. People acted like seven year olds with severe princess complex' on there.

My favorite author is on there though, still, and she still updates. Sunkissedmoon In Love Only reason I go on there now.

To be fair, Quizilla has always been riddled with bad writing, since the beginning of Quizillian time. I really wasn't a fan of BabyBrat21's Lestat story, though everyone else thought it was amazing. The site wasn't really 'taken over' by anyone until it was sold to MTV, and it was sold as a Quiz and Game site instead of the Writing site it had been on its way to becoming. Quizilla was never meant for writing, as it was named for quizzes. But I do agree with the stereotyping; most of the time kids would go around posting that they were Goth, or Preppy, or Punk- and yes, Quizilla did have a lot of haters, but I blame all of that on the fact that the original rules hadn't been enforced as they are here on Mibba.

My favorite Quizillian Authors (none of which update, except maybe one):
youandmeboth - I'm a Girl in an All Boys Boarding School?! (the original)
Cometeclipse - The Sapphire Theif (historical romance)
eatmorebananas - Storms Upon Roses (historical romance)
elfgirl23 - Epic Lord of the Rings fanfiction
toyvox - Crimson Ribbons (Draco Malfoy fanfic)
    jmclrnet2 - You Can't Break a Dead Man's Heart (original ghost love)
    coral302 - Punk-Rock Princess (David Desrosiers fanfic)
firebenderox - Forgive and Forget (a Prince Zuko fanfic)
Leukhendian - she wrote a slew of original fics before it was even cool
hahaOHYEAHaha - I'm a Female Hockey Player... Got a Problem? (original)
MothIntoButterfly - Being of Water (x-men fanfic)
lunarstargazer - A Yu Yu Hakusho Series One & Two (Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic)
