Also, I think the twelve year olds have taken over that site. I find the people on here much more mature.
I completely agree. It's like no one on that site has a brain. They hardly ever type in actual words and their story lines are so cliche. Not to mention the fact that the quizzes go through awkward phases like "Naruto Snuggle Bug" and the millions of "Seven Minutes in Heaven" thing. Ugh! Those drove me nuts!
Jeez! I agree! I am one. I have, however, found a few note worthy writers on there, and I enjoy checking up on their ( the authors) updates. Most of the writers on there are like begginers, they need a lot of work. And the worst stories end up on the top stories now-a-days, it makes me sad. There was a time when there were a lot of decent writers, but not so much recently.

I still occasionally skin around quizilla.
All I really see is anime and Harry Potter related fics now though.
And of course those shitty quizzes eight years olds make up in their spare time.
My quizilla and my back up. Don't count on seeing me around much though.

That's because all of the good writers moved to Mibba.

Im another person from quizilla. I actually followed a story over to here.
I LOVE MIBBA! i started posting my story and got NO feedback at all! which was really sad, coz it felt like no-one was reaing my story so, i didn't feel like updating. Then i joined here to read the story and others and decieded to see what the reaction to the 1st chap would be. It was great! i got some feedback which was really nice. and i got welcomes from people even before i started posting my story! =]

I used Quzilla for a couple years, but then when the site had its 're-launch' or whatever, I ended up hating it. So I followed other authors onto here, and now I enjoy using Mibba a lot.

    You're lucky.

Quizilla, in my opinion, has gone to shit. Anyone can take someone else's story and put it off as their own. I saw that because I've had two people take two of my stories and post it on Quizilla as their own.
People over here on Mibba are cooler and much more mature.

I heard on the Confessions Thread that they bash Mibba on the Quizilla forums. That makes me sad since I read through the posts on Mibba and no one bashes Quizilla on here like they do on there.

The only thing I've found them bashing about Mibba for is the "never ending list of rules." Because Mibba cares if you have a vocabulary. But, then again, most of the Quizillians of the modern day aren't there to purely write, but for the games, polls, and quizzes. A lot of the newer members don't even know about the Forums.

That's really sad that they have to resort to bashing something that probably don't even know anything about.

Most of the stories at Quizilla revolve around the same thing.
I got tired reading of vampired and having an arranged marriage with one.
    Although,
there are still some very good writers that are on my watch list.
    They're golden, honestly,
and they're just so different from all the other authors. :hand:

I have one, and I still post there too. To me, there were a few good writers, and a ton of just..ugh...A lot of the time they had bad grammar and they typed using chatspeak, making it very difficult to find a good story. To me all of the stories are either about "Twilight" and anything else vampire related, not my cup of tea. But I still like going on there to see what all has changed and such.

I used to go on Quzilla, but when they made the changes to the site I moved to this one.

I've been using Quizilla for six years and I love every minute of it. I had a friend suggest moving over here just as a back up. I can't say I love Mibba but I’m giving it a chance. The only thing I really love about Quizilla is it isn't filled with so many rules. But if I want to respect this site I must follow them :( So yes, I am a die hard Quizilla fan and i don't mean to offend and Mibba lovers.

Nevertheless, I owe a lot to Quzilla because without it I wouldn't know what fanfiction is.
Same here. If it weren't for Quizilla, I would never have written my first horrible fanfiction, and ultimately improved my writing ability after seven years. I owe a lot to the pre-MTV Quizilla.
Ooh. I have to agree 100%. My first fanfic had one of the most cliched plotlines ever to walk the face of the earth, a full-blown Mary-Sue who got the love interest in the end in the most cheesiest way possible (she was the total outcast but she learns that she's a princess from another dimension apparently), everything was literally in one paragraph in each chapter, used [brackets] as dialogue (how I decided on that, I shall never remember clearly), used countless pics to describe my characters, etc, etc, etc.

....Oh, how naive I was back in 5th grade. I thought that was the norm for stories in Quizilla from reading others as examples. And this was before I was even familiar with the terms, "Mary-Sue" and "Fanfiction." :lmfao

My first fanfiction was a Lord of the Rings fic, where the main character was half elf, half human, and could read minds. I used asterisks for the telepathy. I don't think very many used actual quotations until way later. She was also supposed to be into Legolas, but she escaped me and went after Aragorn. Somehow, I feel she will be back in the future, slightly more aware of her surroundings.
