I wouldn't dare and touch conditioner. I style my hair and conditioner just makes it to free.

When it was the school year, I usually took a shower 6 times a week, usually not on Friday. Well ever since it's the summer, I've been taking showers everyday and I know it's not good. My hair gets dirty very easily and I hate it being greasy. But it seems the past week or so, after I take a shower, my hair is still greasy on top. Disgust I've even tried 3 different shampoos the last few days and I'm seeing no results. I plan on not showering until Tuesday, maybe even Wednesday if I can hold out. I'm hoping that then when I wash my hair, it'll go back to normal. It's extremely frustrating and it's sort of making me feel somewhat self conscious.

^ Washing your hair too much will make it get greasy quicker, so waiting awhile to wash it should help a bit.

I've noticed the less I wash my hair, the longer it takes to get greasy. I can go about 3 days before my hair gets greasy.

I wash my hair almost every day. Usually I'll skip at least one day a week to give the natural oils a chance. I like washing my hair, and I know I might do it a bit too much, but I can deal with that. Shampoo and conditioner, always. I don't usually style my hair with heat, only sometimes, so it doesn't really have a huge effect on that.

My hair doesn't get greasy until maybe the fourth/fifth day but becomes more difficult to manage (If I'm not going anywhere, I just leave it. Otherwise it's washed every second day.)

i use dove shampoo & conditioner.
sometimes its just the regular moisturizing one, but usually i use "burst".
i style my hair with heat usually, so dove really helps keep it soft.

Okay, weirdest thing. But if you have thinning hair, apparantly horse shampoo does wonders for you. But you have to use it with a conditioner. Still not too sure how well it works, but I've heard it's really good

    Mane and Tail!

I once got a bad hair cut and I bought the shamppo and conditioner and it made my hair thicker and helped it grow faster because it's infused with alot of protien!

I can get away with not washing my hair for 4-5 days now. Wow

When I do wash my hair, I use an organic sulfate free shampoo (which I found at a surprisingly cheap price, it was like 5 dollars) and on the days that I don't wash my hair, I'll use conditioner. And on days I'm not going anywhere or doing anything, I don't even use conditioner, I'll just keep my hair dry in the shower and just wash my body. XD

I've been doing this for a few months now and I've noticed my hair is definitely a lot softer and shinier and looks so much healthier. Cute

I don't wash my hair alot because if I wash it every day, it's greasy. If I don't wash it every day, it's greasy.
I use dry shampoo and baby powder though.
Plus, all the product I use in my hair makes it stay cleaner longer.

I wish it weren't so late so that I could wash my hair =/. I have to wash it every, single day or it gets itchy and looks gross.

If I skip a day of washing it, it's pretty damn greasy by the end of the second day. I don't even use conditioner. I can go a full two days without looking like shite if I use Dawn instead of shampoo. I can't find any good shampoo for greasy hair. I guess everyone else just fries theirs and don't need to worry too much about grease.

I have to wash it every day.
My hair's really curly, so if I don't, it gets really fluffy/flat (depending on the weather) and in a lot of knots.
Using shampoo even every other day makes my hair kind of dry, so I usually go 3-4 days with just conditioner until I use shampoo.

I kind of grew up in a family where you shower every night, and washing your hair was part of that. So it used to be crazy to me to not wash it every day.

I had started washing it every other day or less for a few years, but when school is in and I have work, I sweat so much that I feel gross if I don't wash it a lot.

But I have very frizzy and wavy and dry hair, and I keep seeing people post about how they only use conditioner. How does that work for your hair and the dryness and frizz? Do you think it would be better for my hair if I just rinsed and conditioned it every day but washed every three days or so?

Well, shampoo can dry out your hair if it has chemicals like sulfate that can strip it of your hair's natural oils.
Using a leave in conditioner, or just putting extra in it can keep it soft (it's working for me).
Rinsing and conditioning it every day, then using shampoo after about 4 days is what I do. As gross as that might sound to some people, it's been keeping my hair softer and less frizzier.
You can get sulfate free shampoos that don't leave your hair dry.
Moroccan oil works really good, but it's expensive.
I buy shampoos & conditioners that are meant specifically for my hair type, and it's been working so far.

Using hair products can also keep down any extra frizz, if that's a big issue for you.

I wash my hair maybe once or twice a week. It doesn't feel healthy when I wash it every single day.

In summer, I was my hair every day or two. In winter, sometimes it gets to four or five days between washes.
I find my hair gets a lot greasier in heat, when I'm sweating a lot.
I also found that switching to organic shampoo and conditioner, a certain brand made it feel all dry and stringy. I switched back to non-organic, and it's all nice and soft after I wash it.
