Books You Don't Like.

Harry Potter. I have tried to read it (and even watch the movies) so many times, but never really cared for it. probably gonna get hate for that now

I also don't like the really girly books or most romance books.

The Megan trilogy.

I don't think it's very popular but all the reviews it got were good despite the fact that it was pretty tedious. There was so much Mary Hooper could have done with the series but I think it fell short. The first installment was okay but the rest bored me. Every time some drama popped up in the story it always got resolved in such anticlimactic ways. I also don't think she did a great job with the anti-teen pregnancy message that the books were meant to have.

I really didn't like New Moon. It was just really boring for me and I was so relieved when I finished it.

The Evermore series is honestly a joke to me. The second one had the worst ending and I'm not even going to complain about it because I'll be here all day.

I don't like books that are primarily romance books either. I just can't do it. There has to be some awesome fight scene or showdown in there somewhere and then I'll read it.

Catcher in the Rye was annoying on a few different levels, mostly because I couldn't stand Holden (but if that's what the author was going for, then hey, they did it right). I also can't stand the YA fiction that centers around "misunderstood teenagers" or "rebels," and it especially irks me when a strong female character meets a male love interest and suddenly all of their independence disappears.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater was truly a disappointment. It had a really nice cover and I liked the excerpt on the back but then actually reading it felt like I was reading a really shitty version of Twilight.
