It's from "Mad as Rabbits" by Panic. The main refrain line is 'we must reinvent love'. I think it's great in so many ways.

I told the guy at the the tattoo place I wanted the pink to fade in from dark to light on that tattoo and . . . yeah. It shouldn't take too much to fix though, like i said.

I'm going to the place my brother got his tattoo fixed at for both my Disney (if they feel they can do it) and my touch up. Probably at the same time.

    ---

My siblings and I are getting 'family' in a different language tattooed on all of us. Mine is going to say 'ohana' and will probably be paired with a Stitch tattoo.

I wanted to get mine done on my 18th, but I couldn't find a nice artist who I actually felt I could trust in time Sad
I'm actually really tempted to postpone it now until I reach my target weight.. like as a reward for myself. And it'll take me a good few months if not a year to manage it, so I'll get to find a really good artist. Even for a sparrow that most tattoo guys could do in their sleep ahaha.

I got a tattoo, during my exchange year to Germany, when I was 18. I got it with a really close friend of mine who went on the exchange with me. I got a Berliner Bear because that's where I spent my exchange and in a sense where I grew up and became an adult. It's on my ribs and it hurt! But totally worth it. I love it and it means a lot to mean.

Thats awesome! Do you mean the traditional bear that's on the coat of arms, or one of the decorated ones around the city?

I am on the not to ink team... there are so many health risks involved no matter where you put the tattoo, it's so scary when you read up on it.

The traditional bear on the coat of arms :) Right now I just have the bear, but I'm thinking about adding the crown and the shield to it.

I just got an anchor tattoo on my bicep not too long ago, it's still healing. I've been wanting to get tattooed for a long while, but it seemed like such a rash decision when I finally went. But my artist was totally awesome and I felt really comfortable with her. I love it to pieces now, and I might get an omega sign on my other bicep after the holidays. No regrets ^.^ Plus, it hasn't bled/oozed/started to itch like everyone told me it would, which I'm super grateful for.

How much does it hurt? I'm planning on getting some when I'm 18, I'm curious to know how much it really hurts, so I know to expect. Help, anyone?

Completely depends on your pain threshold, what you get and where you get it.

But then again, if you read up on everything that happens to you then you wouldn't want to do anything. Piercings are just as bad if not worse.

Are there any statistics? I found all the possible side effects, but when I went looking for the number of people they effect, I came up with nothing. I've had six and had no complications except for some ink fading.

I know that you should always go to a professional though and not some jackass with an at-home tattoo kit. XD (There are a lot of underground tattooists where I live.)

It depends on what your pain threshold is. My brother says none of his hurt, yet my boyfriend said his wrist one was really sore. The two on my arms didn't hurt but the one on my chest hurt like hell. It's a total personal thing so don't believe anyone who says "The sorest place is x" because there's no one spot that everyone will find the most painful.

My first tattoo was matching with my mom, it's a sunflower that says 'you are my sunshine' on my right calf.
My second was matching with my dad, it's the Godsmack tribal sun on my upper left arm.
My third is the phrase 'alis volat propriis' and it wraps around my left ankle.
And my fourth are three forget-me-nots on my right shoulder/upper arm.

Out of the four, all of them hurt except for the one on my ankle. I love them all so much though.

Go around to a few different shops and see which artist not only has the best work, but also is personable. Take someone with you when you go so they can talk to you and distract you. My first tattoo barely hurt more than an ear piercing, but my second one on the other should almost made me cry.

So I'm thinking about getting another tattoo with a design similar to this

    Image

but I'm not sure where I want to get it. I'm thinking about getting the feather in blue but the birds still in black.

Also I'm curious how did you guys tell your parents? I've had mine on my ribs for almost a year and I still haven't told my parents since they're so conservative.

My mom took me to get my first one. XD

My stepmom got pissed at the first one, but she got over it.

My boyfriend's sister got one when she turned 18 and didn't tell her dad because he doesn't like tattoos. He doesn't give a damn about her tattoo.

    I got mine when I was 14 (two months before I turned 15) :)

1: I don't think it hurts, thoough I bet my next one will hurt.

2: Yes it was done by a professional, he had had his own shop but because he had burglary in his shop numerous times, he decided to close it down, so I got my tattoo in a so called 'tattoo-room' in his apartment. But I promise you, everything was totally clean, he had the right things for tattoing, because of the shop, his wore blavk gloves (it's important that it's the black ones, not the white), and yeah everything was completely right.

3: I do not regret it at all! That tattoo means everything for me.

    - I have a part of the chorus from Not Afraid by Eminem tattoed on my left forearm.

I tattooed the female symbol on my upper thigh/hip area about a month ago. It didn't hurt (though I do have a very high pain tolerance). It's a stick and poke and I don't regret anything about it except for the placement. It's a really awkward place, but I felt kind of rushed so I just chose a random place I thought my mom probably wouldn't see.

I have two tattoos. One is a crescent moon with the sign of venus, it's a sailor moon tattoo I got with my best friend of the last thirteen years on January 11th 2013. It's on my wrist. They didn't do the best colour work but I love it nevertheless mostly because of its meaning.

The second one I got on May 9th. I got 'never lose your anthem' on my forearm. It's from Good Charlotte's 'the anthem'. This was kind of spontaneous, actually. I was going to get a totally different tattoo but they overpriced it, I didn't have enough money. They did a great job anyways.

My next tattoos are going to have to wait, my pocket barely survived the last tattoo lol Mr. Green
