I don't have any but I'd love some. I admire tattoos a lot and always have. I'm not sure I know what I want, which is my biggest problem right now. I've had the money and I'm old enough now, but I don't want to get something I'll regret.

I have 12 tattoos currently, and definitely plan to get more over time. My last one (a koala on my left leg) still needs to be finished. For some reason that one hurt a lot more than any other (and I have one in the same spot on my other leg too which was one of the least painful) and I was twitching horribly bad so I didn't have the color finished that day. I'm assuming because I had gotten razor burn right before that it was hurting a lot worse, and that the twitching might not be as bad if it weren't for that, so I decided to have the color finished later on after it healed up (which it has). Then I have the Smashing Pumpkins heart logo from Siamese Dream with lyrics around it on my other leg. a CSPULL tattoo on my side (it's an inside thing... you don't want to know, lol), the rose from MSP's Generation Terrorists on my arm (but it has the band's name instead), the Clash star logo on the other side/next to it), a crazy octopus named Pubert Christ on my other arm with a mustache and top hat, two people skunking on the other side of that, a bass clef behind one ear and treble clef behind the other, "Dadilak" on one wrist (what I called my dad), eyeball from Clockwork Orange on the other wrist, some lyrics with the dates my dad lived on my forearm, and an owl on the other one. They all have meanings and stuff, of course, but I don't feel like explaining it all in a thread no one's looked at for a few months, lol.

I'd like to get a tattoo on my eighteenth birthday. I think I want something geometric, space related, or the phrase sic itur ad astra on my neck.

I have three right now, and plan on getting more. I have one on my ankle, one on my shoulder , and one on my ribs. By far the most painful was the one I got on my ribs. I nearly broke my fiances hand I was squeezing it so hard.

I have script on my left shoulder. I got it earlier this year. The idea first came to me in late 2010/early 2011 and I still wanted it in 2015 which is when I decided I'd go ahead and get it but didn't actually get the courage to do so until this year.

I went to a nice tattoo shop which is like a museum of tattoos and art and it was done by a professional lady who gave me a deal on it even though the stencil took a real long time to get right and frustrated her and she also offered me free touch ups for as long as she's working there. The stencil took over an hour whilst the actual ink process took less than 20 minutes and I was shocked when she said, "all done!".

I have a super low pain tolerance and I was terrified but the experience wasn't that bad. At the beginning (towards my arm) and end (towards the middle of my back) hurt the worst, kinda like a scalpel almost. The rest of the lines were just minor annoyances/stinging. Afterward it felt like a sunburn and took about 3 weeks to heal. It wasn't as itchy as I thought it might be so I was happy for that but not the whole having to sleep on my right side or stomach for the entirety of the healing process. That got old in a hurry.

I don't know if I will ever get another one. Maybe. I've always got ideas coming and going but nothing that ever sticks like this one did. I guess that's the life of an artist. I don't regret the one I have of course as it's special. It is a tribute to people dear to me.

At some point this year I'll be getting my butterfly fixed and a tribute done for my grandmother but I'm most looking forward to having my forearms done so I can cover my self harm scars.

Reviving this thread because I finally got a new tattoo and because I love hearing about others. Let's see if I can still link properly.
