Oh wow, one on bottom and top I take it? I love getting piercings, if I get a full time dental job I might get my lip back... Was so gutted when I had to take it out because of tonsillitis, my entire mouth and jaw was swollen which made the ring I had in so sore and tight, I tried a bar and the ring I had when I got it done and all were too small and just had to leave it all out, wasn't allowed to drive because of the amount of painkillers and antibiotics I was on. I miss it.

Depending on how long it's been out, it might still be open just smaller. My lip piercing was out for years and years but it turned out that I could still get an earring through (even though I thought it had closed up). I got a few bars and sized it back up slowly and now it's a cute 1.2mm. :] It's like a free piercing. ;]

Yeah, I have one on the top and bottom of my belly button. I had to take them out when I was pregnant and was really gutted but luckily they were still open after my pregnancy. :D

It's fully closed, only had it 6 months at least.

Can you not get the flexibars for pregnancy? I have heard of them, but don't know anyone who has used them.

Oh, I see. That sucks.

Yeah but my belly piercings are quite shallow so a flexi-bar wouldn't have done much good. They're only good if you don't want the bar to be pushed out, mine were already so shallow at six months that is was a bit cringy.

Ahhh, I see, at least you were able to get them back in at least, saving money on having to get them redone.

My trousers were fine, no snags.

Is it normal to get no swelling? I have a tiny bit of redness, it's hardly noticeable unless you look really close.

Yeah, belly piercings don't tend to swell that much.

My dog walked over my stomach in bed and his nail caught, it's so sore. :( (My dogs a wee westie by the way, hence why he was able to catch it, shouldn't wear crop tops)

Just got my double-spiderbites done a couple hours ago. So far not swollen whatsoever, but man, they're sore. A lot sorer than I remember my lip being when I got my snakebites. Only downside is I forgot to ask the lady to pierce them with a 14g needle so she did them 16g, so once they're healed, I'm gonna give them an extra month or so and then stretch them to a 14g so they match my other two. Otherwise, so happy to finally have them done.

I'm getting my cheeks repierce later today, I'm so excited! :D

My piercing is doing well, got a bit itchy and dry, but I started cleaning it twice a day instead of three as I was told and it seems way better.

It hurt, but not as bad as I thought. And now they mostly itch, and I've forgotten what it's like to relax your cheeks, so they get all sore from me sort of straining them all the time. Weeeird.

I want another piercing, I'm thinking about going for one of the nipples.

Yeah, it's always appealed to me so much, no idea why, just need money.

This is my dragon piercing I called Barry;

my camera blurrs when it's too close so that's as close as it gets x)

Anyway, I'm having quite a it of an issue with my ear piercings. They're the standard ones, and after getting them done I didn't remove them for more than the recommend time. I started removing them regularly and they became infected. I treated it and it went away, but after four weeks it was back again. Eventually it was gone for good but about two months ago I had an allergic reaction to some new earrings and they became infected, this infection wouldn't go away even with earrings I was fine with. It would fade away, then become more severe. Just two weeks ago I came off some pills that got rid of the infection, but now it's back once more.

This time it looks more like a skin issue, but it's crept back to the piercings even with multiple treatments per day. It frustrates me because I know I can have infection-free earrings, and that this is all one infection that just won't go away. I'm buying a new pair of earrings that I know I won't have a reaction to when this eventually clears up so I won't carry anything over from the old earrings, but does anyone have advice on how to keep it away?

Re-visiting the doctors tomorrow to get some meds for my holidays, so I'll mention it to them and see what they can do. I'll be crushed if I'm not meant for piercings.

I've got five piercings so far.

Four lobe and got my tragus done twoish weeks ago.

After my tragus heals I'm getting a helix piercing done on my right and then a industrial on my left.
