Piercings

  • I'm debating whether or not to get my nose pierced.
Can anyone tell me if it hurts or if it gets annoying?

  • It didn't hurt me personally, I suppose it depends on your pain threshold thing.

Mine wasn't annoying, as I had it done with a ring. But I hear a lof of people say that a stud is better because they're easier to clean and stuff. In my piercing place, they pierce you with a stud that has no back, so it can fall out easily. So I wanted the ring and all, which was easy to clean and you could move it around to clean the whole thing, including the bit inside your nose and all, which helped with the healing process I found.

Get that nice healy stuff too, that works really well. The place I got mine done gives you this spray made up of Witch Hazel, Lavender Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Ravensara Oil and Methyl Paraben... and it was really good on my nose and ear piercings.

I have my ear lobes pierces three times and my nose piercedI fainted

Yeah... apparently you're supposed to eat before piercings for a reason...
:cheese: Did you bleed a lot or something?

I didn't eat anything so my blood sugar was low or something... heh...

I had it pierced, wandered out to pay, then fainted on some guys feet who was queuing behind me at the cash register...

They gave me a sucker before I got my lip pierced...to get my blood sugar higher.
    It was yummy. :tehe:

But afterwards, walking out to our car, I almost fainted.
And when I got my ears pierced the second time I felt like I was going to throw up.
And apparently I became very pale.

  • I nearly fainted after my industrial.
    :tehe: How sad is that?
I just got really dizzy and got a bad headache for a while. (I have a terrible threashold for pain... I don't mind piercing pain, and i'm not afraid of it, and I can stand it emotionally, but pain hates me. A lot.)

    Who here is a bleeder?
Someone please tell me i'm not the only one. I bled all over my shirt. D:

  • I fainted when I got two helix's done at the same time. Luckily the tattoo guy caught me, haha. I just stopped walking out to the main area so I could pay and was like 'I don't feel so good', and I was gone. I got given free coke and a chocolate bar, go me...

But yeah, that was because I hadn't eaten before hand too. This was like, 12 o'clock and I hadn't had anything since breakfast. I've learnt from my mistakes though! My last helix I ate about half an hour before and I was all good.

I've never bled when I've been pierced. :/

    ^ Are they painful? (Tongue)
    And are eyebrow piercings painful?
With your tongue, through my experience with the two I have, the most uncomfortable part is the clamp, but other wise i felt nothing and eyebrow was a pleasant pinch and then it was done.

Oh oh pick me for a bleeder
When I got my ears done I bled, when I did my monroe, and belly button, same thing. It sucks majorly.
But luckily the monroe; I didn't feel a thing really.

Try using a different bar or whatever?

You can try and use smaller jewelery... but that is pretty much always going to happen. It's just an annoying piercing.

Just wait and show them that you are responsible about it and it'll give you more time to think and if you still really want them then you know you're not going to regret it and it'll also give you heaps of time to fine a GOOD piercer

What do you mean 'pleasant pinch'?
    I'm getting mine done soon.
I have my lip and nose pierced.
    Is it worse than those?
    I'm terrified of needles. Cry

At 13 your face isn't fully developed so it might not be a good idea to get one now if your age is accurate. With side piercings it doesn't matter so much, but if you want the middle done, it can. What looks like the middle of your face now might not be in two years and an off center middle lip piercing can look pretty silly.

No, it's not "worse". It's nice, like I said it's pleasant, comfortable.
