only small people (by that i mean rude and underminding) bring people down, ignore them there nobodies trying to be somebodies and you probably have ten times the personality that they will ever hand, rember you may not like your body for a while, but they will be jerks forever

I have issues with my body but so does the next guy or girl. I have days when I think I look completely horrible and I have my days when I feel pretty. It doesn't help that my sister will pop out of nowhere and say, "Stop trying to be pretty cause your just not!" or "No offense but I don't see how anyone could ever find you attractive. Your ugly to be honest." I have total problems and shes a fairly honest girl so it really hurts.

I'm uncomfortable changing in front of family or even my closet friends and always find some way out of doing a very social event. I know I'm not fat and I know I'm not skinny but there are parts of me I wish were different. I guess this is just who I am.

I'm not a big fan of my body, but I accept it. I have started to learn to love little aspects of my appearance that I used to loathe- having dark brown eyes and thick curly hair, for example- so I think I'm on the right path.

I do falter though... right now I'm not feeling so hot about my body because I just got back from camp, and one of the other teen leaders in my cabin was really pretty. She got all this attention from guys and was even nicknamed "hottie" (it was because of an incident that happened on the bus ride there, but it was still appropriate). I felt like this small ugly bug compared to her, and I hated it.

    :(

    All my friends are like

    " I NEED TO LOSE 49057394857 POUNDS!!"

    and I say

    " I NEED TO GAIN 304985034985 POUNDS!!"

    huge difference.

there will always be some flaw.
so instead of acting on that one flaw, embrace it.
because i bet you, some people would kill to have that insecurity over theirs.

I have some days where I do nothing but pick out everything that's wrong but some where I just say fuck it.
So I sometimes have body issues, I guess.

I always feel self concious. i am over weight and it bothers me 24/7. I never truly feel comfortable, and I always feel as if people are judging me. I really hate it. And I can never eat in front of people (other than my family and close close friends). I feel so... uncomfortable.

I can eat little things in front of people, like mints or something. But bigger than that and I always think 'oh gosh. They all think I'm some non-stop eating machine.'

I hate most things about my body. I'm really self-conscious about my weight. I used to have eating problems and I was seriously underweight. I started getting better and then someone close to me died and I ate like crazy. Sad
My nose is ridiculously huge, my thighs and bust are reasonably large and my stomach sticks out. I could look worse but I could also look a lot better.

I think everyone has some sort of body issues at some point in their life. I suppose it's just natural to find something you don't like.
I have things I don't like and the majority of people I know don't either.
I think that you have to focus on the things you do like and emphasise those points.

I acually think I'm rather pretty. I don't know why even, one day it just clicked. I know the exremes of looking into the mirror and hating every atom looking back and the days that you couldn't look away.

I figure I have what I have, if I think I'm fat, I'll eat a carrot and go for a run. If I don't like my hair, I throw it into a bun.

It's the way I live and I'm rather happy about it.

I agree with you. People say skinny girls are anorexic, and bigger girls are fat. There is no happy medium.
    \
    I agree with youu.
    && you [x
I'm always called anorexic, just because I'm skinny.

I understand, I feel the same way. I am not overwieght at all but I hate how my hips look from the front(Thank you genetics!). From the side it is like "Oooo, pretty skinny girl!" but form the front, yeah not so much.
My mother isn't being so nice about how my metabolism is getting faster so I am a bit thinner. She tells me that I look anorexic if I wear layers. :grr: I am not anorexic at all. I just usually don't feel hungry until later in the day.

I was a bit, not chubby, but bigger last year. My boyfriend at the time told my brother this in front of me,"I don't like really skinny girls, I like girls with a bit of meat on her bones like Melissa." Yeah, I think that was suppossed to be a compliment, but it made me feel like a fat piece of shit. I mean I felt like crying hearing that from my boyfriend. Cry I haven't had a boyfriend since him. He respected me way too much, I still haven't had my first kiss.

But I do have some things I learned to like about myself. I now love my very straight posture that my brother would make fun of, my thick light brown hair(It will be a medium red brown when I am older, very pretty.), my odd eye color that is a mixture of dark blue-green and a hint of light brown around the middle, and my legs.

My sister came up to me and asked "Amanda, do my legs look fat?" I wanted to slap her. She's 7. -_-

I hate how society is teaching little girls to be like that! I was never so self-concious when I was little. I believed what my daddy told me- that I was a beautiful princess. :XD

^ And that pretty much says everything about our world today.
All the skinny models and skinny actresses they leave an empression on our generation, that's exactly why so many people have eating disorders.
