My job is weird. We set up laptops inside of a movie theater and pick out people to do surveys. We show them movie trailers and see what they want to put in the comercials on TV.

Whenever I say, "Oh, I'm a market reseracher at Forbis and Associates/Nielson!" people have no idea what I'm talking about. And when I say, "I work in a movie theater." people think i shovel popcorn and clean up after people. It's awkward to explain.

I only get paid 8 dollars an hour, while everyone else gets 10. (He says it's because I'm a minor.)

I'm actually employed at a government contractor, ManTech. I worked there last summer, and I'd rather not go back. It was a dull office job and wasn't for me.

A family friend's now actually suggested I apply at a local farmer's market, where I'd take out trash, man the cash register, make sandwiches and pizza, etc. I'd actually prefer it to the office job. Hopefully I get it because I really need the money.

I'm currently working three jobs at the moment: I've been the office manager at a veterinarian's office for the last four and a half years. It's a standard 9-5 on weekdays and my boss is super lenient and accommodating when I'm in school so it's a great gig.

I'm also the PR Representative/Distribution Manager for a small indie film company. I took it on more to help out a friend than because it was something I actually wanted to do, but seeing how movies come about and everything that goes into them has been really fascinating. It's tiresome and thankless, but I just scheduled the premiere for our first feature-length which is a cool feeling.

My last job (which I got hired for last month and start training for next week) is with the Philadelphia Eagles. I'm going to be doing premium guest services for all home games and events between August and December, so I'm really excited about that. I get paid to go to professional football games and concerts—what more could I want?

The downside to all of this is that I'm also going to school full time and have to complete the required hours for my college internships, so I have almost zero free time during the school year. Oh well. File

I work at this cafe in the mall and at Spirit Halloween and I have an interview at Express today. The Halloween store hasn't even opened yet and of course it'll only be around for a few months so I'll have three jobs in September/October. I'm also working as a dance teacher for my studio but the money I make from that goes towards my tuition for my classes so I don't count that as a real job.

I'm working at a travel agency as one of the reservations staff. I book tickets for different kinds of people in different destinations that they wanted to go. It seems easy at first glance, but the real challenge is when someone requested you a destination and you'd have to seat for more than an hour at your desk, trying different routes just to give your client a confirmed flight with cheaper fare.

And the pay that they have given to me is just around the minimum wage basis in our country.

Before my senior year I did corn pollination which is different then detasiling(instead of taking the corn down, we put bags of pollen over the corn husk to make more corn... I was only there two days).

Job two was before I went off to college I repaired books. They sat me in the back corner where I had my knife and tape. I had to flip through the book and unstick any glue, check to see if all pages were there, fix any damages and repeat.

Job three was godfathers pizza. I lasted three shifts because she didn't feel I was suited for the job.

Job four was a factory where we put out gas and break petals. The reason I was let go is still unknown to me and the 68 others that were let go the same day as me.

Job five was my most current job, catering. I kicked ass and I don't care what he thinks I ran circles around some of his staff that he chose to kept.

    And obviously babysitting

I currently work at Starbucks, yes, the corporate coffee takeover. I've been employed there for two years, and let me tell you, it is insane.

Don't mess with people and their coffee.

My first job was courtesy of my grandmother. I applied at her old employer which is a sublet of a local amusement park. I made like hoagies.

My second job was at kmart. I basically took people's money and put their shit in the bag.

My third job was the absolute worst of them all. I worked at my local TGIFriday's, and it was the longest six months of my life. I wanted to strangle all of my coworkers. It was extremely drama filled and a just overall shit job. And it wasn't your average drama. It was more like high school drama, and I didn't even deal with that shit in high school.

Now I work at GameStop for the season, and I'm hoping that the GM will make me a part time game advisor after the holidays.

I just got a Xmas Casual job for Mossimo, which I'm pretty stoked about because it's primarily a menswear store and I can meet boys there HAHAHAHAHAHA THIS IS MY LIFE.

I currently still work at Daiso, but I'm not sure if I'm being kept on or not - hopefully my manager keeps me on for the Christmas time which I'm hoping for but we'll see.

I worked at Valleygirl during last year's xmas period as well.

My last job was doing customer service in a call center, which suffice to say was absolutely terrible and I hated it as much as I've ever hated anything. Currently, I work as a tutor in the Writing Center at my school, which is much better and more rewarding. It feels really good to like my job; it's like before my job was a black hole that ate away at my life and sanity, and now it's a positive force that enhances my life and mental wellbeing. It's great.

I have had a fair few jobs, so this is my list...

Avoca IGA: It's a small grocery store and it was great, I was good at what I did until I realized how bitchy everyone was and I was not appreciated.
EB Games: It was okay, but not the best. I had a great manager, but the other two casuals bitched about me often.
Matilda service station: BEST FUCKING JOB. I got free food and drinks and my bosses always let me bring my laptop into work to watch moving because the afternoon shifts were slow and they knew I would do my jobs.

I now work at Factorie which is a clothing store. I've worked in three stores, but the one I am at now is a clearance store. It is by far the best. I have a great team, but the only downside is that my company will not let me advance my career and it is beginning to frustrate me. I don't have the passion for retail anymore and customers are pissing me off.

currently I just got hired two days ago to be a game/party host for a mobile gaming company. They bring a large bus that can fit 24 people in and play wii, xbox, etc. We also have outdoor laser tag, hamster balls, and other games. I'd be traveling to events and interacting with children.

I also am considering going back to my old job at the frozen yogurt shop to get an extra income in able to get my own place with my boyfriend.

I work for a florist as an assistant. My pay is above minimum wage, but my hours are just ehhh. Definitely not enough to move out on my own but I love the job. It brings out the creative part of me which I love, I just get so OCD about where the flowers go when arranging them. It takes me forever!

I'm starting my first job this week. I'm (going to be) a waitress at a diner in a local amusement park. It's nice to have a job now and a chance to do something, but at the same time it's going to be horrible because I'll be entirely reliant on the tourist trade and... I don't generally like tourists? XD
