I work at Primark on weekends. It's not the best job but the people I work with are nice. It's a shame the customers have no respect for us or the store though :)
I work at City Hall, as Archives Manager. It's not as glamorous as people think, working at City Hall and all. Basically I sit all day and type some numbers in the computer, which has MS DOS operating system, and after I finish typing, I get to sort out more files and papers. The only thing I like is that I don't get to work with people, and it leaves me time to read and study when there is nothing to do. Plus, I don't have to wear uniform, and have my own office (size of a broom closet, but still).
I have a temporary job. Temporary meaning call me whenever they need me. I work as a teachers aid at an elementary school but I don't work with teachers at all. I work with kids.
I'm not sure this would be considered work, but I clean my neighbor's house every Sunday. She's nice and makes me coffee afterwords. She also pays good, so I'm not complaining.
I've never really had a job yet, but I used to volunteer at the local Halloween attraction called Frightland that my mom used to work at when I was younger.
I work at a bingo hall, basically sell and call out the numbers on the cards. Its boring. But 20 bucks for a few hours is enough for me, at least until I can get a real job.
I currently work on campus at school at the Space Operations Institute, which is a co-program my school has with NASA. We get to develop programs for two satellite currently in space, test said programs, and monitor the satellite.
It's $10/hr at 20 hrs per week during the school year, and $10/hr for 40hrs/week during summer and winter breaks.
Which is awesome for a starving college student like myself.
I used to work at a boarding kennels, which was pretty awesome. We also used to take in abandoned animals, so we would have kittens and puppies galore. It was awesome xD
I also used to work with the SDLP, which is a political party in my country. That was fun, we got to go to the government buildings and run around and we used to eat out at expensive places and ... *drum roll* put it on the expenses xD Don't kill me.
I work at the local sports center in concessions and at a pizza shop. Having two jobs and being a full time student sucks royally, but school doesn't just pay for it's self. :P
The last Wednesday, I started my job as elementary school teacher in th local school. I teach Slovak language and English langauge (English being foreign language). IThe school year hasn't started here yet, so it's really nice so far.
