My first job was working as a kitchenhand at a pub/restaurant. It was actually okay for a first job, except for the fact that I despised my boss. She was absolutely horrible to anyone who didn't kiss her ass, so she always treated me badly.

Then my last and most recent job was working as a bar attendant at a race course. I only worked there one day (the BUSIEST day of the year) and that put me off it because I was only new at doing bar work and wasn't used to working under such pressure.

I'll be starting a job at the hospital my uncle works at soon. I have orientation on November 1st, not quite sure when I'll be going in for training yet. XD

But I'm so excited about it. I'll be scheduling patient's appointments and verifying their insurance. so it'll be pretty easy. Plus I'll be getting paid a bit more than minimum wage. Wow

I love it. I really am blessed to have it.

My first job was a cashier in a small, rural grocery store.

Since then the only jobs I've had have been a Teachers Assistant for my Uni's Physics department and a researcher at three different places.

I used to work at Smoothie King. It was okay, but I got laid off because my owner said I couldn't be in band AND have a job. So I chose band and he said for me to come back when there was a break from after school practices for our spring trip and after our last concert. But. I didn't come back. Hehehe.
Now I work as a dishwasher/food server/cook/waitress/maid for this local restaurant. I get paid pretty well, because the owner is a family friend. It's awesome. I only work on Sundays and I get more than enough money for the week.

I work at a title and abstract company. Basically I'm a little office rat. Not too bad for my first job. It's easy and I get to sit around at the computer for most of the day.

I work at David Jones, which is a very upper class department store we have here. I started work there last Sunday and had three more shifts since then and it's actually been pretty good. The ladies I work with are all in their 30s-40s and they're all very friendly and helpful. It makes work a whole lot easier.

I was only hired there for the Christmas period but if they like me enough then they'll put me on permanently, hopefully.

my first job was cleaning at my high school after school; it wasn't too bad when I got to choose my own block but when I was just casual and i had to clean the boys bathroom...

I was a waitress for awhile, I hated it only did it for three months then i got hired at a Supermarket as a checkout chick and that was ok but i got bored of it pretty fast.

I work as a nanny now and I love it most of the time but it can be very tiring though it's definitely my favourite job so far.

Cry My job's fairly boring.. I work in a call center handling calls for deposits/card. It's decent pay though. I don't dislike it... Some days it just gets frustrating being a metric though.

I used to work at Mcdonalds but had too many conflicts with the managers. That was only.. Hmm with my raise 7.35 an hour whereas call center is 9,75 an hour.

I'm a dishwasher. Rolling Eyes I have to do recycling and mopping and sometimes serving customers as well. It's terrible in the summer, when it's boiling hot outside, and even hotter in the kitchen. Twitch

I work at a bingo hall. File

Every second Saturday I spend about four hours surrounded by old people who are very dedicated to their bingo.

It's completely boring. I'm either doing the canteen or the floor or sometimes both at once.

In which I spend most of my time plotting the death of cheeto man or fooling around with the chair lift. Mr. Green

I work for NASA as a developer. Crazy (It's actually a Co-op my school has with NASA, but I got a NASA badge so that's all that matters!)

I'm also a library aide. Boring. No one comes to my school library, except to print. I'm not sure they even know what reading for fun is.

I actually do enjoy playing bingo. I won three hundred dollars once. Dance

But the old people kind of freak me out.

Good luck with the applying. Very Happy

I currently write video games. They're not like action games or the popular stuff that you guys probably are imagining, but instead they're sort of teaching tools that companies can use to help their employees. But they're fairly cool - I have to create a whole world and the information, people, images, et cetera for inside and if I want, I can make them more funky with some sort of action or cool graphics.

It's a hell of a lot of work because it takes some serious understanding of computing language and it's something I do on the side of School, so meh, it's tough! But I enjoy it ^_^

I used to work in a supermarket, selling fish. It was a summer job which I've done for 6 years. Not my dream job, but I had good pay and great colleagues, so I liked it.

And I just started my first job after graduating university. I work at the belgian daughter company of Johnson and Johnson, a big pharmaceutical research company. Currently I'm working on a project revolving around Parkinson's disease.
I've only been there for a week so far, but I quite like it. It's an hour and a half drive every morning and evening, but that's well worth it. I have nice colleagues, very good pay and I'm getting a company car soon :).
