I started a work program a couple of weeks ago. I work at a warehouse doing assembling and packaging. I was put in the clerical section so most of our time is spent making packets like CalFresh or Medi-cal packets. From time to time, they also make us assemble coffee filters or frisbee-type toys if the toy section is falling behind.

I also still help my parents at the motel from time to time.

I work at Urban Outfitters, a clothing store, as a sales associate. I like it because I work with really awesome people but we are all 18-25 so there can be a lot of drama. However I get a discount on my clothes and meet really cool people and get to help them become some sort of fashionista. In the past I've worked at this Mexican Food place as a waiter and I worked as a grocery store clerk in high school.

I used to work at Subway and it was pretty awful. I'm currently looking for a new job in retail.

I've gotten a new job at Jo-Ann Fabrics as a Team Member... Although the only thing I really do is operate the cash register and keep the front clean.

Honestly, I sort of hate the job. I like the customers because it's nice to see what projects they're working on, especially around this time of year with Halloween right around the corner. But some of the managers at the store make working there miserable. I like my co-workers though. My managers never gave me any formal training and I was completely lost, but the other people who work the registers were happy to help me and teach me.

My first and only "real" job was at Walmart. I worked there for about two years. It was the most stressful two years of my life -- I was a full time student, nearly working full time, getting paid regular associate wage for doing managerial level work... The only good thing about that job is that I met my husband there! We were coworkers for a while. I stayed after he left to move on to bigger and better things. Then, I walked out one day after my shift and I never went back. I dropped out of college and moved to live my husband because I just wasn't happy with anything in that town anymore.

Currently, I'm a housewife. I pretty much cater to every need of my husband, and our cat and dog. The work is almost as hard as Walmart, but I don't have to put up with nearly as many people so... I can deal with it. Very Happy

I work at a movie theater. (Well not at the moment due to the covid-19 crap), but it's been quite the journey. It's actually my first job I've ever had, I've been there for almost a year now, I wouldn't wanna work anywhere else though, I love it.

Swapped jobs in September. No longer work for a phone company. I now work for a breakdown company - still mostly call centre work but I get a lot more admin work here and it's also far better in terms of employers. We're treated like people and not numbers, which is lovely.
