How Do You Like Your Nails?

I llike my nails a little long and plain. I need to paint them more often. When I paint them it is usually hot pink or black or a steel color.

I keep mine short. Otherwise they get super thick and are a bitch to file. So short and rounded is what I like. Normally they have color since I'll get a manicure and it'll last for almost a month (I basically let it grow out. Sometimes it take longer). It's rare that I paint them myself. I suck at it.

The colors I like are dark purple, blue and neon orange. Sometimes I'll do black.

I've never done neon orange . . . I'll have to try that.

I can't stand my nails long. I usually paint them hot pink with black tips.

I've always wished my nails were a bit longer, I just have a habit of chipping away at them when I get nervous or stressed. As far as nail polish, I'll admit to using the Hot Topic stuff. For my birthday I got black, dark red and an electric blue (kind of upset that the blue is nowhere to be found) - so I had fun with those for awhile. I like having a relatively clean look when I paint them, it annoys me when it ends up all over my fingers. I'm trying to let them grow before school starts, so I'll have to start up on that nail growth polish again...

I've discovered the coolest thing to do with my nails. One colour as a bottom layer, and then a clear silver sparkle layer on top. It's looks awesome when it's orange and silver sparkles. :tehe:

My nails are crap from biting them all of the time.

Short. I hate long. They're annoying. Short ftw. I paint them any colour and I paint my nails way too often xD. My favourite oclour at the moment is orange xD Goes nice with pink.

It doesn't really bother me though.. I just paint them black or red.

I paint them all black, but put white stars on my right thumb and left ring finger. :cute:

A lot of girls paitn their nails black, though. Black, and French manicures. :P I prefer plain old black. It matches everything I wear. :tehe:

^ That is very, very true. :tehe: I prefer mine short and unpolished, easier than having to scrub and claw at my nails to get if off when the weekend ends.

Short and rounded basically. It's really impractical to have long nails when you play instruments. Or when you do anything, really. I wore false nails for prom and I didn't know what to do with myself. omgno:

I'll gladly paint them every colour under the sun though. : )

My nails grow so fast.
And stay so long.
I normally just leave them, wait for them to break, and dont paint them.

But with homecoming up,
I'm watching them carefully,
making sure they dont get broken.
And on Thursday I'm getting a french manicure,
but with my nails,
because fake nails can eventually ruin your nails..
and I love mine wayy too much to do that to them.

I always have mine short. I don't like it when they're really long. It's gross, and stuff always gets stuck under mine. I normally only paint my toenails, too, because... I just do. Right now none of my nails have any paint on them.

I'm thinking of getting a french manicure, though. :shifty

I started growing my nails out for the new school year, and I love them now. :weird

Except my right thumb is all retarded cause I bit off a piece, and I bit off the entire part that I grew on my left ring finger. It was the worst feeling ever. omgno:

I love painting my nails awesome colors. But they get all bubbly and disgusting and I end up chipping off the nail polish. The main reason I wear polish is because my nails look like shit without it. omgno:

I like my nails to have that point at the end of them so I can scratch people.

I love scratching the bridge of my nose because I get to show off my nails, which are Tequila Sunrise right now. ( neon orange) :tehe:

Mine are short-ish because I play a lot of instruments and long nails get in the way. Right now they're a peachy-color that kind of compliments my skin tone. I have little skull stickers that I put on when I paint my nails black and those look AMAZING, and they were only like 3 dollars at walmart! :tehe: It bothers me when girls do each nail a different color though. A LOT.
