Okay, are there any people on here that work there?
If so, what should I expect?
I'm pretty confident that I will get the job because It was less than 24 hours from when I turned in my application that I got the call.

    They should be really nice.
Expect alot of questions though. Mostly things like
"Why did you choose to work here?"
    "Why this branch?"
"Why did you choose McDonalds over KFC?"

Things like that. :cute: Just be yourself and you'll be fine.

    I work at MacDonalds. :tehe:

The interview is as easy as hell and barely formal at all. For me, one of the managers just sat me down in the restaurant and asked me about my hobbies and interests, availability to work, transport arrangements, what subjects I did at school. They didn't really ask me any questions like "Why do you want to work here?". It was just really casual and friendly.

    Wtf how annoying omgno:

My interview was so casual... my mum was trying to prepare me for all these significant questions, like the ones I got when I had an interview for a job at Sanity, but it was nothing like what she was expecting. xD

Haha, my sister did that actually for me to.
And my interview only ended up being like 2 questions and lasted maybe 10 minutes.

Oh, and I got the job, haha.

Just because we are on the topic: What is it like working at McDonalds. Because where I live, it has a very bad stigma...

I don't work there but a close friend does, he worked in one in our town centre and hated it so he transferred to the outlet one and he said it's really nice.

I think the one in town deals with drunks/druggos though because of where it is so that put him off more than the staff etc

Well I havent fully worked yet, but it doesnt seem to be bad. We have 2 in our town and one is completely disgusting. The one I work at makes sure it is really clean. You have to wash your hands at LEAST once an hour. I hope it goes okay for me.

I just got a job there.

The interview isn't that terrifying, as long as your honest and be yourself. Having a folder with your awards, birth certificate etc., report and any other infomation you need is helpful in remembering what interesting information there is about you.

I was considering working there. But I don't want the whole "Oh! Fatass working at a fast-food place! How ironic!" most of hte places here suck, so Mcdonalds would be the easiestand best. The Manager looks like a real cunt, and the people there are...Kind of rude. I know a few peopel there though xP.

But some people really have no other choice than to work in less desirable establishments. I personally would prefer to work in a music store in London surrounded by the things I love...

But I can't, so McDonalds it is :cute:

Though I must admit, the people in our local McDonalds don't really make it all that desirable with the way they look/act :tehe: If I get over this three week trial I have, I am going to cleanse tone and moisturise every hour.
