I never take a jacket or jumper. I did once and I lost it.
    Normally just a vest top.
And 3/4 length jeans. With a belt because they always fall down.
And my converse, which I do up tightly because I've lost one and a half pairs of shoes at gigs.
I always take hair ties with me for when I need to tie it up because it's far too long. I hate it when it sticks to people... I end up losing loads of hair.

    Lmao.
I got stopped at the glasgow barrowlands for wearing a metal belt.
I was like fuck sake. Disgust
O.o the security guards don't just tell you to take them off?
I've only been to one venue where they've had metal detectors. Well...it was one of those metal detector wands...they do the same thing.
It was at the House of Blues for Rancid. You had to take everything out of your pockets (coins because they'll set them off, and if you don't take your lighter out when they tell you they'll throw it away) and to take off all belts.
That way nothing will set it off.
Ooo I dunno about that spaz wasn't it a Rancid gig? =p

Most punks are more metal than man X]
Each day my jacket is getting that why and soon face lol

Depends on the band... I mean, if I go to see Opeth, I'm not likely to wear a skirt, seeing as I will be groped by men with beards. :P
Usually, band t-shirt, jeans/black spidey skirt (with red tights), and fake converse (my real converse are too pretty, not to mention expensive, to wear to a place where they will get trodden on :XD)

I usually take a hoody too, seeing as I'm in England and it will probably rain =)

I usually wear a shirt, one that I don't mind getting pulled at during the mosh, a skirt and my boots so I can see above everyone who is taller then me. I have learned to wear a long skirt after the first two gigs I went to, though wearing a long skirt doesn't mean some guy still won't try get his hands up there.

Tip: IF YOU HAVE LONG HAIR, WEAR IT IN A PONYTAIL! It really sucks getting people's hair in your mouth.
Oh, and do not wear clip-in extentions. They will come out.

I dress comfortably when I go to shows. I usually wear a band t-shirt, and pants and shoes that I can just slip on. I'd rather be cold outside than end up wearing a coat in a cramped venue. omgno:

It all depends on the show and whether you're seating or standing. And it it's outside or not too.

But pants with a fair few pockets is always a must, especially if it's a festival.

I think you just have to take in what situation it is, like obviously you would never wear thongs (flip flops) to a death metal gig.

In saying that, I've worn thongs into a festival mosh, lost one and then found it on the way out. :lmfao

But a big no no, is never any freaking heels in the mosh! Maybe if it's a theatre show you can get away with it, but god knows you will only be entertainment for everyone else in the pit if you do. :XD

I just wear jeans, my uniform a.k.a. collared shirt, and flip flops or Chucks or skimmers.
The flip flops are not advisable if you are going to mosh. I tried it once and it was broken after the show.

Regardless of what else I'm wearing I always, always wear my big, leather hooker boots. I had my converse pulled off in a particularly violent pit at Billy Talent once and I only ever saw one of them again. Plus, the steel toe caps mean if anyone gets too gropy I can just kick them in the crotch and they'll most definitely learn their lesson. :shifty :cute:

For really lively shows I wear my skanking pants. They cover my whole leg to avoid any undesirable cuts from wayward studs and such, but they're reeeally light so I don't get too hot and I can move around really easily because they're so comfy.

Everyone's saying no to skirts, but honestly the most comfortable concerts I've gone to are when I'm wearing my black denim mini with opaque tights. Seriously. You don't get as hot, you don't get uncomfortable. I wear denim shorts too with tights. Bare in mind I live in the UK, so I have to wear tights if I don't want to freeze. Then I'll wear whatever tops I've got out & throw a cardigan over the top that I end up putting in my bag. Comfortable shoes is my number 1, I wore the same black Rocket Dogs till my Mom threw them away. I stick with dolly shoes.

Seriously though, I used to religiously wear skinny jeans & my skirt or shorts are just so much better.

I'd pick comfort over style. Because moshing in high heels would make you fall and get trampled. I saw that a couple days ago in the Panic show and I pissed myself laughing. But, seriously, Panic is a really hard band to mosh to, no matter how hard you try. :XD

Moshing in Converse or Vans would be really easy to mosh with, plus you'd look gorgeous, too, but that depends on what you wear it with.

Usually I go with a tee, skinnies and a specific pair of Chucks. I wore those shoes to every single show I've ever been to.

I suggest that you go with a pair of pants you're comfortable. Personally I think skinnies are best, but that's just me. I guess I just got used to the tightness. Also wear shoes that aren't open in any way. Like, people will step on you. Really. And it will hurt. I guess you can wear whatever you want to wear for the top, though. Just make sure it isn't tight around the arms, but that's just me.
At this point, I just really hope I made sense. :shifty

I prefer wearing a tank top, jeans, and Converse.

When I wear the tank top, my sweat doesn't show up half as bad x]
Sweat is always a problem, it gets to like a hundred degrees in there :cheese:

I like wearing a pair of skinny jeans that won't fall down (because I don't wear belts). There's nothing more annoying than having to pull up your pants when you're in a mosh pit, only to see that they're stuck to your legs with sweat. (I actually think I might try the denim skirt with tights thing myself sometime, actually.)

I've found that Converse are good in the pit, because when people step on your feet, your toes are protected.

I also tie my hair back and keep extras in my pocket.

Usually I just were skinnies/or shorts and a tee. Sometimes I wear other band shirts to see bands if i know they like them- like for Aiden I'm gunna wear a Morrissey shirt coz i know wiL loves him. may even get a comment on it like I did from Lostprophets

However on Saturday to KIGH I wore this cute dress with leggings and I couldn't even feel the heat! it was awesome!

Also need a zipper or a hoodie for when you come out the gig coz you could catch a cold from the change in weather (ooh all motherly). erm, and a messenger bag!

I wear skirts, with shorts underneath.
And a black tank top and my chucks.
If it's winter I have on tights but otherwise bare legs.
Boots are advised if you have them.

I cannot attend a concert or even a movie screening or a signing without jackets. Jackets are practically my best friends when it comes to events like these.

For under apparel, I never decide to wear the band's shirts. I usually wear black and white striped shirts, black shirts, white shirts, gray shirts, anything that doesn't have much pigment. And all the color only goes into either a tie or shoes.

For shoes, I wear either ballet flats or Converse. Yeah, boots go nice as well. Wearing sandals is not an option for me. You can slip off the floor easily and topple down so many people. :XD

I always wear the same thing to concerts- Band t-shirt, underneath a little coloured top (To stop looking like i'm wearing all black) and black skinny jeans.
I always take a jacket or cardi, and the shoes depends on wether sitting or standing; Converse for standing and dolly shoes for sitting ;D
