When I saw MCR last year I had a half-hour walk from the car to the venue, and it was raining like hell. Like, bridges were flooding. So I had to wear my hoddies to the venue. When I got in I just tied it around my waist... I got soaked from sweat as soon as I got dry from rain. You should have seen my hair... :lmfao

Oh and if I've learned anything from Paramore it's NEVER WEAR LARGE/ DANGLY EARRINGS. I got my earring caught on someone in the pit and it got half way pulled out of my ear... like, instant stretched lobes. :D It hurt like hell for ages...

For shoes I usually wear big boots, like my New Rocks. Getting your feet bruised is not fun :(

Oh god. Once when I was in the pit, someone else's earrings got under my skin and like ripped a chunk of it out. It hurt like hell. Cry

    No earrings at concerts!!

I usually just throw on my skinnies and a band tee, or a colored tee. It depends on the concert. I usually wear lotsa jewelery and stuff my camera in my bra because I'm really paranoid. but that's about it...

If I had pit tix, I'm sure It would be simpler though... I've never been in a pit though, so I'm inexperienced in that department...

    Sound awful.

All I've got ripped out is some of my long hair.

I've now learnt to tie it up.

Inspired by the upcoming Panic show, I decided to make this thread.

What type of clothes do you wear to a show? Do you dress warm, for the line outside, or cool so that you won't get too hot inside?

    What's better, comfort or style?

Do you dress differently depending on the venue?

    Discuss.
I dress depending to the concert that I go to. My last concert I went to go see Cute is What We Aim For and I wore one of thier band shirt, skinny jeans, and a pair of flats. People say you should wear really sturdy shoes to a concert but I just wore flats and my feet were fine.

If you're in the standing area or the pit, wear as little as possible. I don't mean go in your underwear (lolol), but I saw Fall Out Boy last week and I was wearing skinnies and a sleeveless with a shirt over the top.
Let's just say, my clothes were sticking to me by the end of that gig. Just bring a jacket or something for afterwards =]

    P.S.
Skate shoes and Converse and the best to wear ^.^

I suggest not wearing a mini skirt.

My friend did that. She ended up getting out of the mosh coz it was riding up too much.

Jeans and some sort of tshirt.
Something that I'll be comfortable in.
Because it's terrible when you're pulling up your pants every ten seconds or whatever.

For me, I just wear a tanktop, a shirt, and a jacket. The jacket is for the line outside, the shirt is for the first few numbers, and then the tanktop is for when you feel like youre about to overheat with all the sweaty bodies around you.

Oh, and wear comfy shoes. Converses can be bad, it hurts when your feet get stepped on.
Hahaha, you took the words out of my mouth.

Also...wear pants or shorts. Not skirts. You will be moving around a lot, from jumping up and down to the music to people around you shoving.

My first concert I wore jeans and a tee-shirt.
My second concert I wore a blue denim dress and white leggings.
The first concert was all comfort.
The second concert was me knowing I was going to get my picture taken with the band and knowing how I wanted to look in that picture.
My next concert I'm wearing jeans, a tank top, and a hoodie.
I'll always wear the same shoes though. Super comfy and go with anything.

I wore a relatively short dress and had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I was against the barricade getting pushed and shoved, but still no problems.

I wear jeans, a random band shirt, and Chucks. That's all I've ever worn to a show. Even if it was at an outside venue when it was 90 degrees, or I had to wait outside in line in a snow storm. :XD
    Perfect. :cute:

    Yup. :cute:
I wore a The Devil Wears Prada shirt and skinny jeans to my Panic at the Disco concert. I also wore a boa, but I ended up taking it off. It shed...a lot. It was hot, too.
(I was going to throw it onstage, but the stage was too far away. :grr:)

    Why not^ :shifty
As lame as it sounds, I like the feeling of being like, united with thousands of other kids by wearing a shirt of the same band. Makes me feel like I fit in. :cute:

If you have long hair, for the love of God, put it up!

At The Getaway Plat concert I went to with my friends, there was this girl in front of me with really long hair. She left it down and it kept getting tangled in everyone's fingers and, really, it was gross.

And, wear shoes you can walk/stand/jump around in. I was originally going to wear my Red Peppers boots to The Getaway Plan concert, but I decided against it as they have four-inch heels and are quite heavy. Skate shoes / sneakers / high-tops should be okay, but don't wear flip-flops. My cousin wore flip-flops to a Grinspoon concert, was in the mosh, and her feet were a wreck afterwards.

Normally a shirt of whatever band I'm seeing and jeans. For shoes it's either Vans or chucks.

Some t-shirt usually (as long as it's not of the band I'm seeing... I'm not that tacky, despite the fact that I wear my own band's shirts. haha), and pants that are baggy enough that I can move about (unless it's a concert where you have assigned seats, then it really doesn't matter).
