I personally find a lot of the stereotypes for Californians to be pretty funny. Some of them are just downright ridiculous, you can't help but laugh at them a little. Here are a few stereotypes I've heard...
-All Californians live near Los Angeles. People tend to have this extremely bizarre idea that there is nothing more to California besides L.A or they think every single city is an exact copy of L.A. .-.
-We all smoke pot.
-We're all hippies and vegetarians that only eat organic food.
-We all know a celebrity personally and/or see a celebrity on a daily basis.
-We've all been to Hollywood.
-We're lazy people who spend our days loafing around at the beach and never do any work.
-We're all rich.
-All women are stick thin, tanned, blonde, and blue eyed. All men are tan, tall, and extremely muscular. (lol most Californians aren't like that at all)
-All Californians must be Caucasian or else they must be an illegal immigrant. (I seriously don't even know what to say to that)
I'm sure there's more but that's all that comes to mind right now. I've always found it funny how most California stereotypes center around L.A. Come on, people, there is more to this State than just Los Angeles.
As an American, we're apparently a bunch of fat, lazy, stupid rednecks. Yup.
