Plans Later in Life

well, my plan in life when it comes to education is to study somewhere abroad, maybe the us, to become a music journalist.
i love music with all of my heart so having to work witht hat as a living would really mean the world to me.
i've always loved music and literature, such as writing and stuff, so it's just become a dream of mine. <3

what about you? what's your plan for the future when it comes to education? (:

Well, I really want to get in a good uni somewhere aboard -because unfortunately, the best uni in the country is 60 km away from where my mom lives, it's complicated to explain but we just hate each other's guts and I don't want her perturb my college studies : ) - I have my eyes set on the UK, France, Italy and maybe Spain and study comparative literature/classical languages/ creative writing/ history of literature/ basic philosophy. And most probably many other. I want to learn stuff, many stuff. I don't really want a career or anything like that - I have a housewife soul, I just want to learn and learn and learn and learn, I love learning and books and literature. And I'm weird.

That would be plan A. If plan A fails, we go to plan B which is Film School. I don't really want to go to Film School, I just kindof well maybe think it would be cool to go. I would feel as if I'd be taking the place of someone who really wants to be there. I've been to workshops and have a few really good friends who are into movie-making and know directors and photographers and my parents are absolutely ... trilled with the possibility, but I don't really like movies or people enough to want to work in the movie industry. But you don't always get what you want in life.

And plan C would be a career in international affairs or law.
Completely and utterly boring. Like any other plan C.

I plan to have a career to do with Medicine or Pathology. :cute:

But, to study, I'd love to go to California or France.
France seems so, wow and it seems like such an excellent place to study. :XD

I want to be a psychiatrist. It's pretty much definite, I'm looking at good medical schools and all that jazz. :]

Mostly I want to stay in California/The Bay Area for the rest of my life, though I would eventually like to retire and travel the world.

My parents version: I'll finish school and go to uni in England. I'd get a job and move overseas to make loads of money. I'll meet a rich guy who has a big family, we'll get married and have kids. We'll live in a flash house in Australia.

That's what they want.

I don't know about what I want.

Well, so far I plan on going to Italy and Greece right after I graduate from high school. Next summer I plan on going to California.

As for far into the future, I'd like to go to law school and eventually move someplace sunny like Los Angeles.

my parents want me to get a scholarship to some fancy pantsy school and make loads of money by being a doctor. and then get married and have kids and blah blah blah....

I just want to make music.

My mother's plan for me: I finish high school, I go to some college that is close to home so I can continue helping her with daycare, become some famous author and live happily ever after, so to speak.

My plan: Buy an old VW Bus, paint it, finish high school or at least make the attempt, pack up my crap, then disappear the day I turn 18. Road trip it for life, or at least a few years.

I'd like to take Photography, English Language and Literature for definitite as A Levels in sixthform.
Then I'd like to take a gap year. I'd go to Poland for a month and Australia for two or three to find my long estranged uncle.
After that I'd like to get a flat in London and go to university for a bit, though I have no idea what course I'd take and I have no idea if I'd see it through.
After university I'd like to get a job in Television, Fashion or Interior Design and be good enough at either one that I'm slightly in tthe public eye. I'd like to have plenty of money and I'm going to have this absolutely perfect house, swear to God. I'm going to have plenty of pets and i'd like 3 children (:

So no, I don't really have a plan ... xD

I'm not so sure I even I want to go to college. For the longest time, I thought I did. But then I was thinking about it the other night, and the only reason why I've ever thought that I want to go to college is because of my parents, family, and teachers all saying "Oh, you're going to college.", "You have to go to college!" and all that crap.
So, who knows if I want to go. I think I do, but I'm not sure right now.

As for when I graduate High School, I plan on driving across the country with my bestie Jenna, and visit loads of places I've always wanted to go to; Washington D.C., Boston, Las Vegas...and since I graduate in 2012, the Harry Potter theme park will be up and running down in Florida, so we'll definitely be making a stop there =D

Photography really interests me, but I don't think I can make a living off of that. Opening up my own coffee/pastry shop would be cool. Have a bunch of different seating arrangements so people could come in and hang.

Or I want to be an English teacher, and put back into kid's minds to be free and independent thinkers.

We'll see where I end up. ( :

I want to be a math teacher, and that's pretty definite, but I also want to travel everywhere. When I say that most people think I'm exaggerating, but I seriosly want to see everyplace in the world. (except maybe nebraska, there's not much there.)
Hopefully I can take trips every summer, because I'll still get them off.

I'm moving in with my Mum when I finish year ten and going to college and uni in Sydney to study medicine; I'm going to be a doctor.
That's all I've ever wanted to be.

I am pretty much undecided right now. Something with Music and Writing though. Maybe a photograph or two as well. But writing and Music are the two definite fields I want to go into. I just have to narrow it down. But aside from going to college in four years and going on to live my dreams, I want to travel. I want to see the wonders of the world. But aside from somewhere in the far off future (10-20years from now) of starting a family, nothing else it really planned and mapped for me. To many blank spots right now.

I wan't to be a police officer XD I'm doing the test at the moment, can't say it's easy.

I'm going to become a Graphic Designer.

Probably a Librarian. I do have my dream careers, involving art and writing, but I know that in the end all that gets laid aside for a practical career.

Plan A; finish school, go on a road trip round America and New Zealand for my gap year, get into film school/work and then become either a director or a camera person, depending on how things go.
Plan B; finish school, go on road trip, get book published/get a job in newspapers.
Plan C; Finish school, become trader in FTSE. hellz yeah :cool:

And if none of those work out, I'm screwed.
