Plans Later in Life

  • I'm in college now pursuing a career in criminal justice. I plan on getting my ph. D (my goal is to have no social life) in criminology to become either a psychologist or criminologist. I want to work in the field of criminal justice so anything is really fine.

I'll be going to Depaul University next year in a half, so yeah. I'm pretty pumped for that.

  • I want to go on and do general nursing which is three years and then do midwifery which is further eighteen months, but it would be three years if I went stright in. At the end I hope to come out with two degrees.:cute:

  • Ultimately, I want to be a paediatric nurse and work with terminally ill children.
This means studying a variety of GCSE courses from home this year, then next year a two year National Diploma and then university.

  • I'd love to be an author, or something English related.

My English teacher said I had a career as a novelist, and my Art said I could go into the field of interior designing.

I have no interest in the latter though.

  • Uprising.:
I'd love to be an author, or something English related.
    Oh yes, that's my dream.
I wouldn't mind being a journalist, a sports or music one preferably.

  • I wanna be a broadcaster for the news!! That or something dealing with music
    October 31st, 2009 at 06:13pm
  • I don't have a clue what I want to do. I know that I want to work backstage for a band, helping set up sets and stuff, and there's courses for it, but I'm not sure if I want to do A Levels first, so I've got something to fall back on, or if I want to just go stright in for a diploma in Music Tech.

I really don't know, and I hate the idea of planing it all out when I'm just 15/16, when I've got my whole life ahead of me.

  • Well, I'm in a Community College here in Houston, TX and I hope to one day transfer to Texas State University - San Marcos where I hope to earn my Bachelor's in Sound Recording Technology.
    Career Title: Recording Engineer.
I am currently in German so for a summer (or longer) I hope to live in a German-Speaking Country to get used to the language, I plan to do that after college and then I plan to move to Los Angelos (SP?) or New York and get my internship in before I start working...
After I start making a steady income, I want to go back to college and start learning other languages and during vacation time, I want to visit other countries that speak those languages.
And hopefully, when I go back to college it won't be just other languages I learn, but other skills, like I would love to eventually take a drawing, painting or Photography class. =]

Those are my plans, I always want to keep on learning. I'm a big nerd and I love to learn new things... I just hate the homework that comes with it... xD

And until then, I must write this Research Paper I'm currently procrastinating. =]

  • I'd love to be a librarian(as nerdy as it sounds). I'm actually job shadowing at my library in a few months. Also, I think Art Therapy is so interesting. I think that would be amazing.

  • Right now I'm studying to be a midwife and I'm about to start an apprenticeship with a local midwife. It's hard work but I love every moment of it. I want to be a midwife for a Cherokee reservation when I turn 18. If I keep up my study pace I'll become a midwife in 2 years, so that's right when I hit 18, so as soon as I get my degree in midwifery, I'll get my Cherokee citizenship and then move to Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma and work there.

  • I'm in college now getting my B.S. in computer science (programming),
and hopefully with that degree I can become a robotics programmer for
    NASA or another company.

But, my other main super duper dream is to use my BS in computer
science to work for Google, the best company to work for ever. File

  • Well next year I'm taking Drama, English Lang-Lit, Politics and Sociology at Truro college for two years for A-Level then I'm going to go up to London and study acting at eighteen.
But I have had the idea of becoming a actor or a stand-up Comedian (Thing is my parents won't take me seriously on that they said the closest I'll get to being a stand-up Comedian is the Edinburgh fringe).
