    A Melancholy Autumn:
I have really dry hair. I used to blow dry it all the time and realized that my hair was really brittle. It's so...ew. I've talked to the hairdresser and she suggested Biolage Shampoo and Conditioner...I haven't bought any yet, and I hope to get some soon, but does anyone know any other way I can acheive less dry hair? :|
John Frida and Sunsilk for dry hair are really good. I use Sunsilk to get straight hair and it leaves my hair so soft despite the fact that I straighten it every other day. And Sunsilk is pretty cheap.

I have dark brown hair and green eyes. My hair is about up to my shoulders and I always keep it in a pony tail. I don't have any bangs. I want to try a new hairstyle, but I don't really like change very much. I think it would be a good thing to change it, but I don't know what to do with my it. Does anybody have any suggestions of something I could do?
It's hard to judge because there is no photo, but....
Wearing your hair in a ponytail all the time is a big no-no. It puts a lot of strain on the roots of your hair, and can result in bald spots later on in life.
If you want easy, manageable hair, why not try cutting it short? A cute bob or edgy chin length cut are always good ways to go.

Try posting a picture next time, maybe I'll be more help then. ;)

    Ohmygossssh! You're so cute!

k, I don't think you could pull off the blonde, only because of your complexion being pinkish, rather than the creamy complexion that most natural blondes have. If you wanted to do all of those fun colors, maybe you should try keeping the brown, and bleaching and coloring a few thin strips.
    Ahahaha thank you! :]]

Okay, that's helped a lot. Thanks again.

A big event is coming up for me, and I don't know what to do with my hair. Like I've said before, I have dark brown hair and green eyes. And my dress is black with green polka dots. What should I do with my hair?

For big events, people tend to curl their hair, and then pile it ontop of their head. It's classic, and it works for most hair types.
But if you're looking for a cuter look, try a beehive (you might want to get tips off the internet for how to do it), and accent it with a black headband.

Well, if you had it before and liked it, I would say it looked alright.
Personally, I think that the chocolate brown with black 'chunks' wouldn't be a very flattering color, if that's what you want, you should get it.

I have thick and kind of wavy hair. I want a new hair cut and maybe dye it a different color. Last time I asked for layers and the lady didn't layer it for me at all. Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated =]

^ I think you'd look really good with a short cut. Your face is shaped right for it and I think it'll fit. If you're looking to dye it, I'd go with blond streaks. They'd look really great in your hair.

    Awwe, you're so cute!

Instead of side bangs, you should try full, layered bangs that wisp over your eyes. Very chic.
For the cut, you could get a shoulder length simple cut with multiple different lengthed layers, Make sure that when the hairdresser is doing your hair, you remind her to add in layers, sometimes it slips their minds.
Also, if you really want to commit to your look, you should consider buying a hair straightener from the salon. I have naturally thick, wavey hair, and I find that regular straighteners just don't do the job. It's worth the couple extra bucks.
Now, for the coloring, I would suggest a rich chocolately brown with a hint of red. You can tell if the color has some red in it by holding the sample book by a bright light, and rotating it around. If the color has a red tint to it, you'll see a red shine. Also, you may want highlights, if you do, I suggest getting copper or golden blonde streaks. They complement the rich brown base.

Good luck, I hope you're happy with your end results.

Thanks so much! I had full bangs at one point, but they grew out and I never got a chance to have someone cut them again. The cut and the color sound gorgeous. Once again, thank you. =]

mkay. I've been dying my hair a orange/red for the past couple of months. The dye is the lorel hair moouse and it's non permante and it said it should wash out in 8-10 shampoos. Recently, I have wanted to dye my hair back to a light blonde that it was originaly. So last night, I did. The routes and all the underside of the hair came out the color put the tops of my hair stayed the faded red it has been. I do not want to use bleach and I didn't. Does anyone know what could have caused this?
