*types this as I drink coffee* Hi I drink way too much coffee too often, to the point where I've considered getting the caffeine molecule tattooed somewhere on my body, and also I already own a belt with a buckle that actually does have the caffeine molecule on it.
But yeah, I've been a coffee drinker for years now. Only in the past years have I tried using a French press to brew, and I actually did find it to be a little less bitter than when I used a regular drip coffee machine. I also love cold brews but I never have the patience to go through it, plus it uses way more grounds than I'd like for the same amount of coffee. I've always wanted to grind my own coffee beans but I never got around to investing in a grinder so I still just buy grounds from the store.
In any case, I still prefer to drink coffee with flavoured creamers. I'll drink straight black if I need to/if it's given to me, but I'll usually at least add sugar to it as well. I drink Starbucks (not as often as I used to, but my work place serves Starbucks coffee and I get a sweet 50% discount in our cafe so if I'm lazy I'll deal) and Coffee Bean but when I brew at home, I prefer Gevalia grounds. I've found it to be a lot more palatable than the Starbucks grounds I used to get--way less bitter.
