I do extra housework around the house. doesn't get me much and leaves my parents unhappy.
and when you babysit, you should set a price for everyone, seriously, cause if not, it can go wierd. sure, might get paid extra- but theres usually a time where you'll get paid barely anything. URGh....
It's not really a downside... but I hate when we have bullshiters who come in and say we left something out of their meal. We do make mistakes sometimes and leave things out but we honestly have so many people come in saying that they didn't get their burger and they're lieing to get free food.
It annoys me so much.
Same thing goes to people who say there food was cold/not enough mayo/too hot/no seasoning and yet they eat the food before they complain.
i work at State Farm. i'm a telemarketer there, my job is to get auto quotes. basically the question should be, "what are the upsides?" because that list would be so much shorter.
I deal with customers who think I don't know what the fuck I'm doing or saying >_< and customers who like to switch tickets on clothes, shoes, appliances and they wanna get on bitchy at me cause i fuckin' caught them :file: :hand:
OH and the fact that we don't hold up to the return policy just pisses me off! for example a person can bring back a shirt that have stains they that customer made but as long as they have their receipt they can get their money back . It;s a total WTF!? >_<
I work at a pizza place and the guy who makes the pizza likes to blame his mistakes on me. :file: Also he thinks I’m supposed to clean and do dishes. :file: Nope, I’m hired to take care of the register and answer the phone, thankyouverymuch. :file:
I work as a waitress at a nursing home, bringing drinks to the table. Let me tell you, sometimes the worst moment is when the person you're serving forgets what they ordered, blames it on your "bad memory," and then makes you go back to get a different drink. Sometimes they make you go back a third time. It's good exercise with fast-walking, but still, it's annoying.
My job? My Job?!?!?!?! The heat, sun, getting the ocasional cut, cold water on cold days, yada yada yada. EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate my job, but at least it pays well.
I'm a CIT at a summer camp. So I get to work in the middle of the woods, with young kids, and it has rained everyday for the past month with no sign of letting up. I actually don't start until Monday, but we had to help set up the other day, which meant picking up trash, in the rain. Moving boxes from cabin to cabin, in the rain. Did I mention the rain?
I'm not used to standing for long amounts of time and standing and not slouching for a few hours really makes my back hurt since I'm so used to slouching and sitting most of the day. I'm so lazy.
I work as a receptionist at a gym. It's easy money and most of the people I meet there are nice. The one downside is that it's my dad's company and most of the employees are family; aunts and cousins. Never in my life have they annoyed me as much as they do now that I work with them.
So, my mum has volunteered me to start house sitting peoples' pets while they go out of town on vacation.
The downsides are that most of the animals require shots for diabetes or something of the sort. I'm terrible with needles, let alone injecting them into other beings.
Being on my feet for 8 hours. Being on my feet for 8 hours, working on a till. Being on my feet for 8 hours, fetching prescriptions from the shelf. Being on my feet for 8 hours, dodging the swine flu customers who think it's acceptable to enter a busy chemist and cough everywhere.
