WelI I don't exactly know what it's called but we call it hamstring and calf streches. It's when you stand on one leg. You take the foot that you're not stepping with and pull it back so you touch your back thigh. That seems a little unclear though. Have you tried searching the internet?

I don't run on the team, but I run.
My mile is like... 8? Maybe 7:30ish?

I don't really time myself, I just notice the time sometimes.

I'm part of the XC/Track freaks at our school. This'll be my first year doing cross country and I'm psyched. So far I can run 4 miles without stopping only because I've been training all sumer. My pace is really slow though. So slow, It takes me 6 laps to lap my dad... who is walking. And In track I do High Jump (4' 6in was my best. I'm not that good.) and Long Jump and sometimes the relays. If cross country goes good, I'll consider the 3000. Hah, during the off season the XC team is gonna start an Offseason Fitness club.

^ Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do fine at all of your meets.

I ran a 5k today in the rain. 29:30-something. I beat my freshman time by 4 minutes. It was a good race, I could've done better though.

So today was our league meet. I ran varsity and I actually did good. I broke 29 and 28. (My previous time was 29:42) Today I did so well, my time was 27:45. I'm really happy.

I'm sure league meets are coming up for you guys too, what are your times?

Oh gosh ur lyk me then... better sprinter than a long distance and my field event is long jump too! I love 100m. I have lots of stamina in my legs and If I am doing a long distance I can pace myself and then bomb it the last 100m XD What really made me angry was when I heard about a cross country team in school. But I could find the meeting for it!!!!:(

my mile time is getting better. I have a meet tomorrow. I'm down to 7 minutes.

I can't sprint, I have long legs though. I'm pretty good at striders though.

I've been running cross country and running long distance in track for the past three years. My fastest mile time was run a few months ago (it was 5:53). I have a friend that did hurdles - he has the biggest scars on his back from falling!

5:53? Your probably the best in your team, well mainly because my team only has one girl who can run a 5:50ish mile. Mines in the 6's now. What's your best 5k time?

My mile was 7:53 but that was a few years ago.
I mostly do the 400m, long jump, triple jump and whatever relay my coach puts me in.

My longest triple jump was 30 ft 2 in, and my longest long jump was 13 ft 2 inches.
I'm not the fastest runner in the world, but I enjoy it with a passion because when I have a lot on my mind, i just keep running until I've thought everything through and then I just keep going until I can't run anymore. During my phy ed class I ran a touch over 3 miles in a class period.

We really just do 3 mile races, and my PR for that is 21.17. I'm not quite the fastest on our team, around number ten or eleven or so.

Seriously? You're team must've won like counties or something! Where I'm from if the entire team can run in the 22's and under, thats like untouchable.
Lol a 5k is three miles.
